Tammy I remember you loving to post MOI-style of walls... whatever happened to that? (though I guess I'm not complaining but I'd rather not have another me in the game

I've decreased the amount of walls I make. Pretty much depends on my mood, how much time I have, and how I'm thinking about the game. I played one game where I wrote only five walls the entire game! I'm sure there will be walls, just not right now.
Sorry if my spam caused the battery to go down.

I have some amount of difficulty motivating myself to stay active in this game when five pages have been posted in the span of me sleeping each of the past two nights. And then only one new page manages to get posted while I'm awake. :\.
Pjovek votes are bad. My first priority once i get around to it is to read through the entirety of zach's wall on syryana's post. But eugh, the walls ;_;

This, but so is the ridiculousness of that s_o_o's vote. Stop being distracting, P, there was no need to make something that grows into three pages of nonsense.
implosion: I'm around, though kind of busy elsewhere. If there's any way I can help you brainstorm?

What happened to this exactly? I think I'm missing something here.

I only have a cat with a party hat. If you could be more specific, this would probably involve less clawing and yowling.

It's nonsense to say spam makes the battery go down.
Let's read the OP. I'll take you by the hand.
2. Battery-Powered Deadlines. Deadlines in this game (outside Apocalypse) are measured via a meter that starts at 100% and counts down each real-time day by a varying amount. The amount is based on true activity. If the meter reaches 0%, the Day immediately ends.
The amount is based on true activity.
based on true activity
Oh my.
The amount is based on "true" activity.
Therefor, "non-true" activity has no impact on it.
So, spam is utterly irrelevant to it.
Bask in the light of my shining spears of logic.
That said, due to popular request, I will not be posting anything else today.

The only thing that slows the battery drain based on what the ruleset says is true activity, thus spam is not going to slow down the battery drain.
It's a net negative because everyone has to go through that spam that doesn't slow down the battery drain at all, so it just makes it harder to read through the game on top of giving people less time to do it.

, how do this games mechanics affect your read on Whimsy and the wagon on her?
They don't affect my read on Whimsy Eggplant. They affect me not being at all interested in risking a lynch this early in the game. The player has
one post
, and there was an absolutely insane jump of votes without even a chance to explain themselves (don't tell me they were active elsewhere--look at the actual content or lack thereof).
Yes Kats there is everything right with putting someone with a single post on L-1 just because they made two meager posts elsewhere. You're absolutely correct, my bad, I should never have spoken up against the recklessness of this wagon.
Has anyone even bothered to look through Whimsical Eggplant's posts outside this game, other than those two? Because I did. The florid, overdone style of writing isn't a particular characteristic of this game, nor is chiding someone on mechanics
on one post
. Yes, he posted twice elsewhere since his (first and) last post here, and there was no follow-up in this game. Hold your horses, dammit. If the player doesn't post, they are due for a replacement at 11 pm Eastern, so if nothing else Vi should have a replacement lined up tomorrow morning.
Lynch the witch purge it with fire omg
two whole posts elsewhere
!
Surprise, I'm already annoyed 12 pages in.
Pjovek: I know Vi's modding style probably better than most anyone else in this game. I don't have full details on battery numbers, but I know that the mod's satisfaction with the thread is a factor. Spam influences it and, as Zach said, it also influences how much stuff the players have to wade through to catch-up/re-read. I'm fairly sure you're the type of player who can keep pointless posts to a minimum, so please don't be stubborn about this and cooperate.
Tammy: if we can get you to see the obvious (hi--I'm Town! ^__^), you, Syryana and I could probably do something awesome with this game.

Sword_of_Omens, how would you say you tend to read Tierce? (as town, as scum or are your reads just wrong) Can you point me to some games that you were in together.
I get it if you have a gut-town read on him, but he's mostly been pushing BS so far.
Tierce are you only voting ffery for ignoring your initial vote on her?

You think pjovek is scum for pushing policy lynches?
@Tammy: What do you think of Whimsical plant?
------------------------------------------------------
I am getting the feeling that whimsical would be replaced and we can't question him further on his post. Hurray!

Tierce, before this game started, I decided that if I was scum, I'd basically just try to aggravate you for shits and giggles, and hopefully make the thread unreadable, but I drew town, and I actually want to avoid it as best ast I can. The fact that I am seeing this behaviour in is disturbing, of course it might just be that you can't help it. Now, I ISO'd you before asking the question, and I actually want you to answer.
Enomis, no, I don't think that he is scum for pushing policy lynches. I think he's scum for the reasons in my
238.

Yep. And if it was just an unfortunate misread or something on whimsical eggplant's part, that's probably an overall plus. If not, the slot will at least be under scrutiny.

Oh, and if Whimsical is replaced, we should speed lynch that slot. He signed up for another game, so it's not as though he's avoiding posting because of a general lack of time.

He did not. He asked for (dead) QT access. That's far different. Don't you dare to speedlynch that slot.
And I know you're Town. But I want you (and others) to look for the answer yourself. I want to see your thought process.

I do think the content of Whimsey's one post is worth lynching for.
But I'd be happy to see ffrey or pjovek lynched as well. Them be my scumreads.

Tierce is in the I'm not sure category and it makes me sad, but I won't let that get in the way of my agreement with her that ffrey is scummy.
