Yes, isn't yours?
By content I mean "You're scum because you're not posting enough"
By "yes, isn't yours" I mean "do you
really
take claims more seriously than the posts of the people who make them?"
But you're not scumreading me based on a post, you're scumreading me based on a lack of posts.

To AS: Interesting how you say that I am a suspect when this is all you've said about me

117: "I'm leaning MC is more likely be scum over TMT."
89: "just looks like he's taking an outsiders stance over actually engaging in the game"

Isoing Kdub now.

I don't like the fact that he doesn't want to commit a opinion on us, and why he isn't trying to figure out our motivation behind our claim when he says he doesn't understand it. He's being really back-seatish with his scum-hunting.
Where did I say I didn't understand your claim? For the record, I got a bit of a town feel after thinking about , but I concede that I'm mostly neutral on you at the moment, in part due to apparent disagreement between your two heads.
In post 271, goodmorning wrote:when people say "well, TMTOL could be a scum ascetic instead of a town one." GET OUTSIDE THE BOX, GUYS, IT'S CALLED FAKECLAIMS AND THEY ARE NOT THAT UNCOMMON
Given the speed with which he claimed, I have a hard time seeing scum-TMT making the decision to fakeclaim that on the spot. What reason would scum have to do that? He didn't instantly try to paint AS or MC as a liar and push for their lynch, and he basically locked himself into a claim that can be disproven. TMT is likely town, but IF he is scum, he's probably ascetic.

I don't think letters fakeclaimed it because I don't think he would take such a risk given how frequently he gets scumread and/or mislynched.

If you think he claimed "speedily" then there is probably nothing I can say on that point. The game started on a Tuesday. He claimed on a Saturday, after two earlier posts from Thursday.
Scum would always like to make themselves look Town. To claim so early would be a creative gambit, one not impossible for TMT (from what I have read from him) to think up. Early claims really tend to look townier, and it's not outside of the realms of possibility that that's what happened here.
If he had tried to push for a lynch on either of them it would highlight the fact that he, too, was a neg utility claim, and if he was pushing lynches on the grounds of neg utility claims then he'd either look like a scummy hypocrite or get lynched himself.
It is fair to say that the disproving thing would be an issue. How big an issue I think we would disagree on.

So would I.

How are you feeling about AS? And AA? AA worries me a little because her first substantive posts are pretty mild.

He claimed speedily relative to MC's claim (which revealed the second negative-utility role), which is the key point.

I would support a BRO lynch today as well. Is he still V/LA?

AS is making me feel fine right now, even barring the miller claim. #267 is substantive and well reasoned, but they left out talking about BRO and, although I understand why, we need to resolve that damn quick. I don't think I'm going to get them to support a BRO wagon today, and I don't particularly want to lynch Kdub.

I would think that Town!AA would read the game and read my slot instead of latching onto this gambler's fallacy thing. It's fine as a running joke in RVS but this is page 12 and she all but admitted she's suspicious of me for "I've been good as scum before" which she should not be allowed to use as a crutch to avoid actually reading me (or apparently anyone else).

P-edit: BRO's V/LA could throw a wrench into things.

AA said something about not being around until Tuesday, which makes for a nearly substance-free day 1. Day 2 had better start on a much stronger note.

okay, caught up.

VOTE: kdub

Your push on me is lazy, letting ffery and to a lesser extend bork do all the work.

MC's lack of participation with the hated claim also has me nervous as fuck given that their dead tomorrow regardless of alignment. I feel like a hated townie would want to play more aggressively than a miller would.

If it's "lazy" to expose your reasoning on me as inconsistent and backtrack-ish, then I'm guilty as charged. If you're referring to something else, then you're going to need to provide examples, otherwise you are just asserting something that isn't true.

And given the imminent deadline, I'm just going to head this off at the pass right now so we don't get caught in a spot where we have to scramble for a lynch. I have a confirmable ability. It won't absolutely prove that I am town, but it will prove my action and target, and I can demonstrate it tonight, barring any shenanigans. That's all I'm going to say on that until tomorrow.

Why would you venge someone who just claimed an unspecified PR?

Why should I believe it?

Since we have to lynch MC tomorrow, it could be a play to instantly move the game to LyLo.

Or I could just shoot you, I guess.

At this point, yeah, although I'm nervous by how little AA and MC have contributed.

Also, I should really metadive letters to see if I find his posts as scum more townie, because me townreading him is strange as fuck.

I'm not sure what to make of your reads tbh.

Townreading TMT is a little odd. I am not sure whether to chalk my initial town read up to becoming familiar with his play, or if there's something different about his game here that I didn't see in priors. Since in a prior he was town, that's a little concerning.

Quick metadive of letters indicates that he has almost 0 scum meta to look at (2 marathon games), although what I saw looked more content-light than this.

kdub: Cool, either you can die or we can both die, then. Sounds fun :D
