Hi, back!

I see from reading that I'm not being lynched, everyone is actually getting nastier with each other, and apparently we're now sheeping Rational, and Bazinga wants me to unvote myself, while still having her vote on me, which if I'm scum should just make her happy, right? I don't like all the negativity, I feel like it's preventing people from getting town reads and working together. I still feel like Bazinga is doing this intentionally, her current vote and actions don't line up and also still don't line up with what she has done. I do not really understand anyone particularly wanting Shos dead, I sort of think him being disagreeable and arguing about the plan shows town intent - even if scum feared the current plan I think they'd be too scared to say something against it because so many have voiced support. I think he's raising legitimate questions about it, and it feels super towny.

Unvote: Squirrel Girl
Vote: Rational Madman

I cannot imagine how anyone thinks he should be trusted or is town, and with the way Bazinga shied off voting him considering her tell I'm pretty content to vote her. If he is scum, please, please, please lynch Bazinga tomorrow if I'm not around.

IMO we lynch RM; and then split 4-4 on two people, or split 3-3-2 on three, which, I think is better. but who would they be.

I like your plan fine, but don't see it as specifically more home run, and it will have aggressive opposition and also have the downside of being more complicated and more prone to "mistakes". I think we should stick to the target up plan which though not inherently brilliant has worked twice before and is easily trackable, with the latter being a big win to my mind. If some other people express interest though you can count me in, but I suspect there will be too much kickback to make it work.

OK SERIOUSLY GUYS I AM SORRY FOR TROLLING.

I am just saying that nurse should lead and all doc should stay on the nurse so that when nurse dies we know all saving roles r gone and the quack doc can take it from there.

If you are sorry for trolling why did you do it? I think you're sorry you have votes on you.

I'm the one that has been hesitant about RationalMadman, not mollie, in case my posts aren't discernable from hers.

Who have we shied off voting? TSO? I'm not even sure that tell was a legit scumslip, but I'd wager that it is. Considering TSO's play post-slip, I'd think yes scum. I'm twiddling my thumbs, getting my feet wet on D1 and until near deadline, new discussions can continue to commence for me <3

and uh, my plan will result in a death of some of the most scummy people, and in case some of them don't die and others do, we will be able to say what's going on: based on the number of kills know if the CPR/quack is in both groups or just in one, if there are two deaths not on the trio then one is scum having killed the weak doc, easy to determine which kill is the mafia's nightkill, etc.
Can you link to a completed game where this strategy was used and the town won?
No, but you're proving the rule with the case instead of the opposite.

the fact that 1+1=2 does not mean that 3+3=2 and 1545+1545=2. the fact that two games were won using the strategy does not mean that it is an autowin. otherwise, the game would not be balanced as an open game.

I enter opens (mostly) to try and play new setups. this is a setup I've never seen before, and my strategy is the best thing I could come up with, while not investing many minutes of thought. on those minutes, I managed to find holes in your strategy, and could not find a one, single occasion where it is good for town when random luck is RANDOM and not pro-town.

on the same note, someone quickly ISO RationalMadman and see what % of his posts(should be under 10 imo) has content.
You didn't find any holes, all you've done is ask what we will do in the worst possible scenario and pretend like you've found a smoking gun, and then dismissed two successful attempts at this plan by calling them random luck.

It's not about fearing the plan, it's about controlling the night actions. Shos is attacking mollie's plan by appealing to fear ("It's just random luck, do you really want to hinge a town win on that?") and offering an alternative that is distinctly more advantageous for scum. Why are you reading that as town motivated?
