Well, my gut has the sinking feeling that you're scum laughing at me from behind your false indecision. But Tyhess is still the scummiest player.

My opinion has not changed since the last page; I'm waiting for aioqwe's opinion. However, I am trying to decide whom the SB should kill if tyhess turns of innocent. I think that MBH is innocent, but I'm not sure who is more scummy between Sarc and aioqwe. I am leaning towards the latter for reasons outlined above, but I'm really not sure.

aioqwe, Militant, Killed Night Four by Infidels
Sarcastro, Militant, Bombed Night Four by mikeburnfire
mikeburnfire, Suicide Bomber, Blew Up Night Four

Aegor, Infidel, Survives!

Aegor and Twomz, Infidels, win!!

SensFan, IH, kilmenator, Porochaz, and aioqwe also win!!

Night choices should be fairly obvious. However, it is worth nothing that Aegor failed to send in a night choice N2, so kilmenator was randomly selected to be bombed.

I guess it was well-played by Aegor, but this game mostly seemed to be a typical case of "let's chase the wrong people while the scum sits and watches the town rip itself apart."

I agree. I was sad that my partner was bombed so early, but then it made the game much easier for me. Good game everyone, and good job aioqwe for suspecting me!

So I arrange for the Town to have an 8-1 advantage going into Day 1, and Aegor manages to get the win?

A lot of success in scumhunting comes from being able to link scums together. Without true power roles
*
that becomes pretty difficult when there aren't scum to link.

*
In case nobody noticed, the SuiBombers were, mechanically, just going through a night/day sequence, with the Bomber choosing who dies.

Yeah, I figured that. Unfortunately, the way my win condition was gave me a 10% chance of losing the game N1, and then a 9% chance of being lynched. I liked better the 18% chance of winning straight-up than the 21% chance of losing by the end of D1.

Yeah, but if you miss scum, you still lose outright. So you had an 82% chance of losing outright by bombing N1. Compared to 21%, that seems pretty terrible. :P

I feel like some small part of me knew that Aegor was scum, but then again, some small part of me felt that every player was scum, so I guess that doesn't count for much.

I really need to work on telling the difference between newbie scum and newbie town. This is not the first time I've seen scumtells and gone after a player, only to realise after the lynch that all I was seeing were newbie tells.

Sarc starts off the new year with more failure. Some things never change.

The crazy thing was, once I was dead, while reading the game with emotional detachment, I felt it was obvious that Aegor was the scum. I know that sounds hard to believe now, but sometimes when you're in the midst of a game, it can be hard to see what's going on. Once I was out, it was clear that Aegor was laying back and only making safe comments, while the other townies got emotional and bickered against each other, he stayed calm and cool and totally off the suspicion radar. Nice job, Aegor. I almost posted something like "Bah, go town - I know who the scum is" but I figured even that would be giving too much info.

The thought had crossed my mind too, but there was no way to justify lynching Aegor with all the bad plays by everyone else.

True, but you could have justified bombing him, since I was obvtown.

I actually agree with OtM's comments. When I was re-reading the game for my Tyhess PBPA, I found Aegor kind of scummy, but I felt that he still didn't compare to Tyhess or even the other two. Oh well.

bah... I had a faint suspicion of everyone, aegor was suspicious because I wasn't suspicious of him kind of. Oh well... Being put 1 scum down from the beggining actually hurt the town. Sad...
