I'm not applying it elsewhere because the specific scenario that we're talking about didn't happen to other people except for you and RC. DrDo voted for himself, you voted for RC and Rui voted for you, and given my theory on how I want to keep you both alive for good reasons to town, I don't think I should've applied it to you two.

the short answer is that i don't like the idea of you getting access pointed, me getting nightkilled, and then the remaining town being left to their own devices to determine who to send.

Isn't the point of the strat you laid out at the very beginning so that we'd know we were sending the survivor of our pool of three D2? That would leave only one more successful send left and statistically alone we're more likely to send town than scum D3.

I have. My point was that I get sent today. On day 2 a vig shoots roster because he was the one who supported my vote without stating a reason and when he flips town, that clears me as town (or roster had bad reads and I'm scum, but, let's be honest). After vig shoots, they are confirmed 100% so they get sent day 2 and on day 3 it really doesn't matter who's sent because if we get to LyLo, we just lynch the last person. That was my plan.

If I'm pinging scum to you, vig can just shoot me since I suck anyways and that confirms roster as town so you can send him while keeping both you and NSG alive. One of you gets nked but we still have at least 1 experienced town.

This whole idea only works if we assume you and roster are the same alignment one way or the other. Roster has barely interacted with you, he townreads you and told you vigs couldn't go on the mission thats it. Pretty flimsy basis to make the assumption you're making

No, though since I'm sure this is where you're heading, not only does being town not automatically make someone's reads be right so they could be voting scum anyway, scum in this setup are not incapable of voting town, especially at a time when that person has few votes on them.

I think what town needs to be doing right now is getting the vig opinions on NSG/Insomnia and likely pushing one of them through to access point, I think talking about other reads hurts town by giving scum a guideline on who to kill

It's pretty fun. It reminds me of Revolution.
I haven't seen anybody that I think is scum though. Anything that I think is scummy has been shown to be a mistake about the setup they didn't get. Right now I trust RC.
