Okay so a towncore of 5 wins. That means I need 4 correct town reads to lock the game yeah. 3 if my town reads are all vanillas. Lemme catch up in the thread.
I've been playing mafia for about a year. I'm from Mafia451 predominantly, though I play on Smogon as well. Where I'm from most play consists of townhunting moreso than scumhunting. I like to build large towncores and then lynch everybody not in that towncore. I find that this style of play actually puts more pressure on scum as the goalpost for townies is higher.
I don't at this time have any town reads that I feel >95% confident in but I will say that I have positive thoughts regarding certain Umlaut, Snowblaze, Homura, and piis posts.
ghost as my scumread right now. Pi is my strongest townread as well.

This vote on my slot would be a ballsy move for scum considering that at this point my slot from the perspective of the scum team was already being townread/seemed like a slot that would obv quickly.

Gibus, alternatively, seems a bit scummy in interactions with Raya36. It seems more that Gibus is trying to argue that Raya36 is wrong or inconsistent rather than to argue that Raya36 is scum for being wrong. I don't think being inconsistent is particularly AI, especially not for a player that seems to me to be somewhat inexperienced. It seems that Gibus snap locked my slot clear quite quickly which may be TMI influenced actually. Gibus entry also seemed a bit awkward to my eyes. If it isn't clear from the rest of my post, if I have any scumreads rn Gibus would be my top one.
Elmo also seems to be an OK vote. Not one that I'm particularly excited about but not one that I'm interested in fighting neccesarily. I would hope for a sub into that slot that might be a little easier to read, but as a POE slot an Elmo vote isn't the worst way d1 could end.

From the perspective of scum, scumreading a top townread is a viable option to keep town disorganised. It maybe a ballsy move to do as scum, but that can't be a reason to townread an experienced player IMO.

I was talking about this game in particular, not a general thing.
Where else can scum try to shoot at?
