sorry, probably should have checked in with you. but i'm going for a bussing play today, as i can logically justify you as scum, and i feel like i'm in a position to deepwolf if lilith or you get eliminated today. i think we haven't done enough distancing as a team, and these endgames can really unravel quick if the good solvers can latch onto the likely pairings.

i think i won't be influential enough to get you eliminated today, but a hoopla/lilith/SS scumteam will be really hard to find.

if we don't win it on D5, i'd back us in a 5p lylo.

I guess it's a reasonable insurance play. Make sure to give yourself room to switch to Menalque or petapan because I think if we get one of those today we will likely just get the other tomorrow and win. But you are right that if something goes wrong your vote on me is going to make one of us look very good.

i’m really sorry to leave you guys hanging, I’ve been hoping that work would ease up and that I’d be able to effort, but unfortunately it’s gotten way, way worse (to the point where I’m almost 100% working through thanksgiving). I absolutely hate that I’m letting you guys down and have no energy to show up to the thread and don’t even have the brainpower to contribute to strategies in this pt. I feel like you guys would have a better shot at winning with someone who can show up in thread. most likely going to replace out tonight.

on another note, i wonder if my push on menalque was a misstep. it's the sort of gamestate that is forgiving enough to allow for confused pushes on people, but i probably don't want to keep relying on the scattered, chaotic townie playbook.

incidentally, i think menalque would be a much better mis-elim tomorrow if we can somehow manage to secure a mis-elim elsewhere (peta hopefully, but today may come down to peta/SS. i think infinity looks unlikely).

having dave + mena alive in ELo together seems like a very likely win.

i feel like you need to start making more stances. i know it's your style to sit back like this, but i feel like you'd definitely be one of my top suspects if i was town.

i'm probably going to end up narrowing my focus to you/peta. i have a feeling if i push you more (with my somewhat evaporated social cache), it will drive the town more towards peta. but that is a hunch.

i think the game is more likely to unravel with a mena elimination today, as dave + peta + N_M all have to reevaluate and make new stances with a town-mena flip. there's a decent chance they land on lilith or you. maybe even me.

whereas, the unresolved tension of dave/mena will be enough to get us through ELo tomorrow.

i think you pushing towards peta or infinity could be a proactive stance for you to take on the redirector issue rather than just waiting to hammer menalque.

it's probably more important to play in line with your town meta than to make unnatural pushes. so you do you.

if it does get narrowed to you/peta, peta is perhaps a more logical candidate for today as his flip gives more info about dave. and given there are peta/dave theories floating about (from mena in particular), i think you survive a peta/you battle.

as for infinity, it's hard to gauge who actually has him in their solves, because for some reason everyone is pretty adverse to thinking ahead more than one flip at a time (which isn't the worst thing in the world for us actually).
