Waiting to see what Percy has to say about Iec's claim.
Also, kind of biffed it there if you have Twitchy Wraith:

I implore anyone with insanities (and everyone else) to please read the rules regarding them very carefully. We don't need unnecessary insanity infractions.

First of all, why did MoI, investigator, have 2 insanties? Was he going murderer?
Second, I'm still convinced ElG is scum. But for now I'm not voting him because...
Thirdly, Trilobite is a liar. He needs to claim all insanities and actions or face a lynch.
Vote: Trilobite
Fourthly, Hito has a good point about xvart. Why did you stalk last night when it is very, very much been established that that is the worst thing we could do at the moment? Claim your target.
Fifthly, Furpants_Tom was obviously targeted by either cult+murderer or a Greater Ritual. That means someone who graverobbed N1 could be cult.
Sixthly, why is Spyrex still alive? Someone claim a rez.
Predit: Oops. I only thought it was bloody or insanities.

The wording in my PM specifically indicates that I was not able to prevent FT from passing on. In other words, the fact that he did not survive is implicit in the wording of the PM itself. I doubt it was a mod error, though that would be lovely.
I am assuming Greater Ritual. Murder target is also a possibility, but much less likely.
EDIT: Trilobite is NOT found to be a liar IIRC...are you misinterpreting that action claim?
What does N1 graverobbers have to do with anything? Do you mean N2 graverobbers?

Same question about why LB and Fate had insanities. But with Fate I can confirm he got occult books, and yet still had an insanity....O.o
I differ with Feysal and say we can't rule out our murderer wannabe/soontobe.

Funny how one missed word can totally change your view on some things.
Unvote Vote: El Goosuki
As for graverobbing - the cult
might
have killed Furpants through Greater Ritual. If they did, that means they might have gotten corpse dust N1. If they got it N2 they wouldn't have been able to use Greater Ritual.

Uhh... we don't have any insanities, so I have no idea what you're talking about... and VP apparently communed us to verify as much.

Why is trilobite a liar Wraith? Am I missing something?
@ Iec - oh...I thought you were saying you protected him but nothing happened. So you are bloody and failed to protect?

Wait...there was noone to grave robe N1 to get dust.
It must've been murder and ritual?

Yes, I failed to protect. No, I am not bloody. I also didn't get an Insanity.

Oh, so someone rezzed you.
Let's find out who(m)

Though THAT part does appear to be a mod error.
Why is it implied that someone rezzed me?

@VP, Trilo: Yeah that was my bad. I missed the "not" in "Trilobite is not more insane than me."
@Benmage: You mean someone warded him.
Also, that means someone might have warded me and caused mine to fail as well. Any claimants?

Actually, I think the problem is that Furpants Tom used a rezz kit and couldn't be protected....right?

Ben, they can do the Greater Ritual without any dust as long as at least 2/3'rds do it. Also, Fate's insanity is probably because he was passed a fetish of himself. Don't know why the cult would waste an action on that, but I'm fairly sure it's the only way he could have gotten it.
Preview edit:
Ben, the implied thing isn't that someone Rez'd Ice, it's that Furpants Rez'd someone else.
Preview edit edit: VP sniped me!

Yes, it lists that there was failure...
I guess it says something else if you benignly target someone who wasn't targeted?
EDIT: Oh. Yeah. That would make sense.

OK, I was notified of the failure, so that can't explain it.

The rules are saying Furpants would not be notified of the failure since he rezzed.

Because you weren't bloody.
VP Baltar wrote:Actually, I think the problem is that Furpants Tom used a rezz kit and couldn't be protected....right?
No, wouldn't that only mean Tom's rez failed, but the rezz on him would've worked?

Got ya. Seems illogical, but okay.

@ VP, that doesn't explain why *I* would be informed, though. Replacing in names:
SE given that FT also rezz'd wrote:FT's target hears Noise. Any Resuscitate action targeting FT tonight will fail, and the player who targeted FT [Iec]
will not be notified of the failure.
But I *was* notified. Unless this just means that I won't be notified given that FT doesn't die.

Ben you're thinking of it Ward style. Rez is the counterclockwise edition of Ward.
Mod: "the player who targeted you will not be notified of the failure", in the rules for Resuscitate, is ambiguous. Would the player be provided false info that they succeeded? Assuming they are told the target died, what exactly aren't they being notified of? Or is it as VP said, that you intended for it to be "and YOU will not be notified of the failure"?
Posted: Fri Nov 26, 2010 8:25 am
by VP Baltar
Yeah, I'm unsure, but it really doesn't make sense that you wouldn't be notified anyhow. Not like you can't figure it out the next day when the person is dead. Idk. Percy can clear up whatever was meant there.

I think the intent might be that I'm not told in the event that FT rezzes and isn't targeted by anything. This is a sensible rule because it prevents players from having a bunch of players rez in a circle and then finding the player who cheated.
But it makes it sound like I shouldn't be told in either case. Probably just an oversight, but idk.
