Yes we demolished the mafia team except for HD who seemed town to so many peeps, at first DGB totally helped us rope scum, then suddenly her scumdar went on the blitz, at that point I started to doubt my scum read on her, though by then I was replaced by DC I believe. I still followed the game.

Long story but basically was a misunderstanding about a totally different game and a lot of paranoia. Turns out I misread a player based on a replacement of another player who I had replaced in yet another game who was scum in the game I replaced in. I actually won that game (Faith Healer plus one with Robocopter), oddly enough.

I'm fine with lynching him soon. I'm not really a fan of letting claimed-scum chat for too long.

I might check this later, but I still believe in the vig claim. It doesn't look like it came from an SK. I mean, it's such a terribly obvious SK fake-claim. And I think the existence of a gunsmith (working as Snork described it) and a town vig would be more balanced. If there's no town vig, the gunsmith might as well just be a cop, right? The town vig gives the SK a scapegoat and a possible fake-guilty result to the gunsmith, which would increase the SK's chances of survival/winning.

I've never played with a gunsmith and I have limited experience with SK's, but I think that makes sense.

So I suspect SiX is an SK who is suffering from some whiplash in between aptil's plans and his. Mafia-wise, if we do have a four-man team, I think it's {SnowStorm, ThAd/DV} but I don't have good reasons for the last slot.

Promised delving into ThAd:

Hm, not seeing ThAd-SnowStorm as a team here actually. ThAd begs off the mastin wagon because it's meta-based, which, um. Meta for me, yeah, but a hell of a lot of people just didn't like that she wasn't posting here. Which isn't meta.

I'm also not sure about his interactions with Nero Cain. I favor the NC kill being from the presumed SK-SiX, but we'll know more about that once AP flips and we figure out how much stock to put in his last-ditch message to his team. In which case the disconnect between ThAd fighting with NC all day and then NKing him is non-existent.

Most of yesterday stemmed from the RachMarie FN to NC business, which I'm not sure how much to read into that.

Bottom line, ThAd is a pile of 'not sure' from me, and I don't have a reason to town read him, but I don't recall a persuasive case.

Did you miss the part where I'm not 100% sold on you being what you claim? And if he's a Mafia Doctor, for example, he could be scum without a gun. Although under your odd version of a gunsmith, that might be out the window.

Well, doesn't matter for now. AP's today's lynch, and SiX is likely the next day's lynch, and whoever's alive can see from there.

What's your current take on ThAd? Specifically, why did he go from weak town in 2689 to presumed scum in 2807?
