I'm thouroughly surprised no one though there was too much investigatives and thought to actually lynch in there

When I realised there were 4 mafia, I figured there were exactly the correct number of investigatives.

Also investigation immune goon being able to do all the kills basically nullified both follower and motion detector

Do yeah i figured an extra cop was necessary

@Dino: We had a ONE-SHOT factional Strongman. The kill on N1 was done by BLOCKING YOU. If you lynched the RB the game would have gone pretty well for Town. TW played his role well though so it wasn't the balance. IB
should
have used their ability on D1 to counter the Gladiator and lynch acryon anyway. That's not the setup fault. Kthxbye was unlucky to target ME of all. Had he targeted literally any of you/Mastina/Beef on N1 and get "protective" he would've confirmed a Townie. Had he targeted TW he would've caught him lying.

Like, we may have been lucky some, but it was not the balance IMHO. Just think if Kthxbye caught TW on N1 and we lost our RB on D2. Can you see how this would have turned heavily TOWN sided?

Not to mention you claimed your role and your target, which helped us decide on the NK on N1, also not a matter of balance here.

No i can't sorry

Acryon could have used his role in a way that didn't outright claim scum, causing a d1 mislynch and sending us into Mylo

The 1 shot strongman thing is irrelevant

Plus, follower can't confirm shit

This was role madness, I've played scum bodyguard, and scum jailkeeper is a totally valid role

I assumed the mod wouldn't put in 4 roleblockers so had to go with "Beefster blocked the worst"

You guys weren't lucky, we lynched 2 of you in a row and only mislynched twice the entire game

That is good for a mini

I've never seen a town loss with this few mislynches

Like had your team played better, this would've been an absolute scum stomp

Imagine if acryon used the gladiate to prevent a town mislynch, and forced it between, say, me and InfernoBrafin

AND suppose you didn't make it hilariously obvious you were defending acryon

Just 2 mislynches is all it took for a town loss in this setup

Mafia is about dayplay, this just wasn't well designed

Notably, you also could've gotten your Kthx lynch, which would ALSO put us in totally unannounced mylo

It was indeed, but still.
Have you heard my philosophy, "Play > role"?

Now WHAT did you say about Not_Mafia's PLAY this game?

...There's a damn good reason I have that philosophy. :P

Mastina you were amazing. Every time you caught up after day 1 I was worried you'd just suddenly flip the entire game on its head.

I often do. I know my setups, it's kinda my thing. I did make a mistake tho.

Gamma as explicitly as he could circa D2 warned me that there was a VERY strong possibility the game featured a mafia roleblocker--I knew this, but never shared it; I was afraid that had I shared this mod communication, it would have led to a Beefster mislynch D2.

Mastina I agreed with you on that until Beefster decided to vote Marangal, then me, then himself

I was voting Not_Mafia for a while today

IB wasn't present and Beefster basically gave up

Lowlight of my year so far: trying to explain my scumgame without softclaiming scum with Not_Mafia

(Which I realize is ironic--I believe the appropriate expression is, "the road to hell is paved with good intentions"; me NOT sharing that probably ironically was a direct contributing factor leading to it happening. So. I take full responsibility for not sharing it.)

I was so scared when you made vague comments about the likelihood of the existence of a scum roleblocker. Totally changed my claim around that.

I never strongly scumread Beefster? He wasn't as strongly town as I wanted him to be, but I only had two wrong reads and you were the other.

Though--not sure if the mod's made the dead thread public yet but when he does, I admit my faults in there. I made what can be basically broken down into
three
critical misplays, plus
one
circumstantial thing dragging me down (always being behind), totaling
four
things which made me be...well, less than I needed to be.

That having been said.

Yes, the kill was NAI, because there were half a dozen reasons I'd die. I was conftown. Because I wasn't caught up, it was ambiguous if I followed the plan or not. (I did.) There were many reasons I could have died, so you are correct. It wasn't alignment indicative.

But that being said, when scum have a hand in my death.
Fuck yes you should be reviewing my content, there's probably a damn good reason for it. :P

He also breadcrumbed really well--I thought he was a weak neighborizer, but I totally picked up on him intending to be a weak SOMETHING. Was quite blindsided when I read the spoiler in the dead thread.

To be honest I wouldn't be so salty if we lost in 4p mylo to the worst; he'd have earned it.
Losing in 6p mylo with Not_Mafia still alive is what I'm miffed about. :P

BTW what's interesting is before the game started TGP messaged me asking me to WOTM NotMafia or RedFlavor, so I ended up warning him when NotMafia replaced in, but it turns out LUV was the one to leave on NM's entry.

I was crumbing weak roleblocker as hard as I could..... until you said there was a good chance of there being a scum roleblocker

For every Almost50, acryon, and Not_Mafia, there is a Mathdino and Momrangal. You should keep that in mind. I did play well, sure, yeah. But I did have my shortcomings this game.
