Penguin's poor logic in his attack on me, and his further pushes without acknowledging arguments against it.
Guess I'm scum too.In post 2824, Auro wrote:That's why I added the adjective "spicy"In post 2821, Cat Scratch Fever wrote:I don't remember you having this take at all. What is the basis for it?In post 2815, Auro wrote:In case I get vigged -> remember that my spicy take is Penguin scum.

Nope.In post 2827, House wrote:Guess I'm scum too.
Forget theory - application wise that possibility is a stretch.PenguinPower wrote: it's not poor logic though
theory vs. application and all that.
Application-wise, it's what happened.In post 2828, Auro wrote:Forget theory - application wise that possibility is a stretch.
You establishing a meta of fakehammering doesn't impact that actual reason behind you doing so. If anything, it creates a shield that allows you to say just this.In post 2828, Auro wrote:This was not the primary counter anyway, which was that I fakehammer every game when I see the chance. I do it multiple times in the same game.
I don't think it's a smoking gun otherwise I would be tunneled there. I do think it isIn post 2830, House wrote:I just don't think the fakehammer is the smoking gun PP believes it to be.
Well - one - I'm not familiar with that meta as far as I can recall, though we haven't played a lot together. So, eh. Two, that requires me to believe you which requires me to think you're town so, eh. Three, because your stated theory isn't what happened in reality, and given that we now know that Enchant was scum I should look back at things that happened around his wagon. That's kinda the game unlesss you just want me to lolvote the whole time.In post 2832, Auro wrote:Except I find value in fakehammers for the reactions they draw (and it's also fun), which are the "actual" reasons I pull them off. I didn't establish the meta for the sake of establishing that meta, it's something I do because of those exact reasons every time.
Why ignore that and instead post-hoc reason that since Enchanthappenedto get a few town points for his reaction to a reaction (which is contrived), it's more probable that I planned it so?
If this is what you believe happened it's a waste of time to speak to you.In post 2835, Auro wrote:My stated theory is what happened in reality if Gamma is town: my fakehammer drew a reaction from him which dismantled the wagon on him and ultimately led to a scum elimination.
Coolio - verify it for me pls.In post 2835, Auro wrote:This is verifiable meta, you don't have the requirement of needing to think I'm town to believe said meta.
That's some T0 shade... and that's coming from *me* of all people. In post 2835, Auro wrote:Sure, it's kinda the game - positing theories backed by poor logic as scum to push your desired eliminations
More reason to keep it on you, honestly. the AtE is not a good look and it's lacking actual emotional content. In post 2699, Thor Ragnarok wrote:Can a couple of people unvote me? I'm really starting to feel the pressure and it's making it really hard to form coherent thoughts without being worried more people will scumread me for saying something dumb. It's hard for me to work in these constrained environments.
Seconded. You did all that analysis, and avoided the result. If there's a way to prove your conviction in your own work, your vote should follow the results. In post 2707, House wrote:If you had spent the day parked on Enchant and he flipped green, I wouldn't be having this conversation with you, because your have been being your vote on your analysis.
I'm hoping you have proof of this.also that fucking claim though. In post 2714, Thor Ragnarok wrote:I'm clearly never scum with Miss Midnight if you look at how she reacted to me earlier in this game.
I have the power to kill and I'm willing to direct my shot based on what town thinks is best.
That is the shittiest clear I have witnessed in a long time.In post 2716, Thor Ragnarok wrote:Bee 5

Enchant 4
House 4
Flea The Magician 13
Gamma Emerald 13
PenguinPower 15

I'd be shocked if none of the top 5 were scum. Bee and Titus seem likely town for pushing Enchant and Titus being counterwagoned to him. Something_Smart has felt towny this game for other reasons.
This as well as Enchant's play and reads leads strongly to one of Miss Midnight or Auro beings scum.
The other scum by my wager is in the bottom 4.
Given Enchant picked 4, House is always town, and it makes Cat Scratch Fever a lot less likely to be scum too since scum like to spread their number picks out and not pick numbers next to each other. The faulty reasoning in this is that they don't like being too close to each other in fear of looking partnered, but this is flawed and not how randomness works.
ok betelgeuse much?In post 2734, Auro wrote:Interesting you didn't vote for Miss Midnight when she was your counterwagon and at 4 votes.
ok psychology time.In post 2761, Something_Smart wrote:I mean projecting in the psychology sense (assuming that other people think/act similarly to you). Yesterday the worst was like "guys, Thor is scum for faking mechanics mistakes" and everyone kinda ignored him.
Today, after he's dead, I was like "guys, Thor is scum for faking mechanics mistakes" and PP was like "no that argument is stupid and you are stupid". And I would have loved for him to say that back when tw was alive, so that he could help me argue against it, and I have no idea why he didn't. That's why I voted him.
I'm attacking your PP vote.
Not better, but certainly getting up there. In post 2792, Cat Scratch Fever wrote:Do you think S_S is a better elim than MM or Thor today?

Wait, what is this if not a counterargument to my Thor vote? My whole reasoning was that Thor was playing in a shady way as scum that he wouldn't as town.In post 2685, Flea The Magician wrote:For you to take shady actions as a scum alt, you have to take shady actions as a town alt
Reread the post you quoted. It's explaining my PP vote.In post 2839, Flea The Magician wrote:Small problem... I'm not attacking your Thor vote.

I think that's at least as believable as someone being supposedly experienced on the site and making as many baffling mistakes as he has made.In post 2842, Flea The Magician wrote:Do you honestly believe that people alt just so they can openwolf freely?
