i've been sick but i also just don't love talking about mechanics for pages. lazy part of me wants to let Gamma be lynched and be done with it, but i don't really believe he's red scum and i don't know if the soft guilty is valid anymore.

How is the soft guilty less valid ? We do not have new information and the odds of it being a soft guilty haven't increased or decreased. Even if you think gamma is town doesnt make the soft guilty less valid

Ido think that knowing how many killing actions are happening in a night and if town has any nightkills will get us to a point where the soft-guilty can be proven to be correct, and by play (not by role) i don't see red Gamma scum.

I believe Gamma's claim and think he's a garbage-tier lynch for today. People should definitely stop telling him to out whether or not he has a protective and who he would be targeting if he is, that is literally just giving scum information. Like, fucking hell, "Oh they'll only kill Gamma that's no big deal" if they don't know if he's a protective or not, they might target somebody he is protecting and -nobody- would die, how do you miss that simple fucking logic? I'm ok with Ranmaru...-kinda-. I'm not big on the idea of lynching for him being away from game like I was for Creature, because so far as I'm aware it's not his thing. I'm happy with lynching Kokichi though, to be honest, because the more I read of their stuff, the more I regret ever removing my vote from them at the start of the game. Almost50 I am less confident about now.

I concur. If Gamma is town, having him outright claim he's a protective role benefits. We leash him to Gamma and know that we should or shouldn't do XYZ that could prevent Gamma from protecting Brass. If we force scum to shoot Brass, that's a win.

Yet, I personally feel this protective soft is a fake, so I'm voting Gamma for that reason as well.

Second off, you're the one who can't understand that if he is a protective he should just protect, and if he isn't, I don't see any other damn protective claims or options around here so it's not like him claiming would prevent somebody else from protecting and spare us a wasted protective. Furthermore, if there -is- a protection shot wasted on double protecting Brass...so the fuck what? It still gets our IC protected and we are -well- ahead of scum atm.
