I got prodded, it was something tangentially relevant on this page.

Pockets go up in value for scum intending to deepwolf. It's a lot harder to hard reverse a townread into scum than a scumread into town if that townread has been throwing you a bone/protecting you, or lining up with your game view for large parts of the game.

But that's all theory... A game theory.
