I think we should give Ika a little more time. Let's not lynch him today. Tomorrow, we can discuss it.

Lying Cat is still cute. I like how he actually thinks his yelling and insulting people who disagree with him is actually doing anything.

Wicked and Vezok are both obvtown at this point.
Ika is probably town, but there is one case I can see where he is scum.
That would requite the Commuter being town and other things though.

I like the vote on Aristophanes still.

No. A man isn't in favor of telling scum what he's doing so his investigation is being fouled.

Also wrong. A man is hoping this one eats rope today.

I'll probably check Mastin if we get the cop tonight and I encourage others to do the same. I'm almost at the point where I don't care if I'm wrong about Mastin.

Flubber wrote:Jaqen's posts are perfectly readable. they are just redundant. That was a very clever misrep though :)

Not a misrep. You found his posts unreadable (in that you decided you would stop reading them) because they were redundant. I think he's been like this for several weeks, though.

Flubber wrote:Also if I didn't acknowledge your posts and came to the same conclusion as you, doesn't that suggest I came to the
same conclusions as you
independently of you? (that's usually a
town tell
for the record)

It could also indicate that you chose to vote Jaqen when it was more convenient for you and not when the reasoning was first brought up.
Also, why are you assuming that I'm town?

Flubber wrote:In addition, as far as I can remember the "not reading posts of players that flipped town" has a sample size of two. That's not damning evidence, and saying I used it as an excuse to hop on a wagon that was forming on a scum read I had before my scum read on jaquen is absurd

Aristo/Mac was already a scum read? I know you were on the early Mac bandwagon but I can't remember you talking about that slot ever again...

Random thought: Flubber, Cerb, LC, mastin?

Still not happy about ika/Kari/vezok, but that team makes more sense than my previous guesses...

Did you just demote me from strong town to probably scum in the span of 1 page?

I'd vote Kari.
I just voted Ari thanks to the whole sorting out replacements thing, feels like we have a nice brotherhood going here.

Like holy shit all he does every few days is check in and post the most useless thing he can possibly imagine. Don't care what Mac did, this isn't town.

I don't think so.

I've explained Flubber and Cerb already. LC has been a POE-scumread for a while now. I had been leaning town on mastin, but her vote for me and her town read on LC are starting to feel off. Sure, I could be wrong on some part of it, that's why I called it a random thought. But I think it's at least somewhat on the right track.

Wrt Aristo, he needs to contribute more, but I'm willing to give him more time. I literally just finished a game with him where I correctly had a strong townread on him. Admittedly, I haven't seen him as scum and I haven't seen anything from him telling in this game, but I do think that I can read him if he starts putting more effort in.

If I understand you correct(and please, tell me if I'm wrong), the primary source of your suspicion is because you believe flubber is scum, and you find it telling that I have been suspicious of flubber all game, but have never voted for him, correct?

EBWOP: ugh, "correctly". That's infuriating.

My four votes this game have been flames as a pl for lurking, hiplop for being scummy, bins as a gambit to even out the hiplop and bins wagons and see how the game reacted, and then back to hiplop to attempt to secure the lynch, and then hiplop on D2 towards the end of the day because he hadn't especially cleaned up his act, and I found his survival D1 suspicious.

When I first mentioned my suspicions of flubber, I specifically said they didn't have enough weight behind them to justify a vote(which, if you've been paying attention, you'll have noticed is something I don't take lightly), then later when I was considering voting them it was them or hiplop, and i felt knowing hiplops alignment would be of more benefit to town given the two days of interactions in regards to his wagon than flubbers flip would be.

Hmm, as of the last vote count none of my top three options are actually being voted.

LC is an enigma to me, flubber might still be scummy, and kari is low hanging mislynch bait quite possibly.

Hoveyda-Grubbs Catalyst

Image

In the Hoveyda–Grubbs Catalysts, the benzylidene ligands have a chelating ortho-isopropoxy group attached to the benzene rings. The ortho-isopropoxybenzylidene moiety is sometimes referred to as a Hoveyda chelate. The chelating oxygen atom replaces a phosphine ligand, which in the case of the 2nd generation catalyst, gives a completely phosphine-free structure. The 1st generation Hoveyda–Grubbs catalyst was reported in 1999 by the Hoveyda group, and in the following year, the 2nd generation Hoveyda–Grubbs catalyst was described in nearly simultaneous publications by the Blechert and Hoveyda laboratories. Blechert's name is not commonly included in the eponymous catalyst name. The Hoveyda–Grubbs catalysts, while more expensive and slower to initiate than the Grubbs catalyst from which they are derived, are popular because of their improved stability. Hoveyda–Grubbs catalysts are easily formed from the corresponding Grubbs catalyst by the addition of the chelating ligand and the use of a phosphine scavenger like copper(I) chloride.
