We lynched scum d1, then suffered two consecutive mislynches. Your slot hardlurked the entire game and has provided zero content. You could really do with redeeming it.

Passionate Storm, the Titus hydra, is conftown.

Alright kind of decent for a point of start here. I will start re-reading this as soon as possible (I find it ironic that I am asked to redeem a slot but since my slot had its share of hardlurking which i should be doing then I guess I am give it my all i guess. :>)

Anything in particular you want my non biased opinion before i start reading up?

Jason: three questions for you. I'll understand if you can't answer them, but I don't think that any of them are questions you can't answer.

1. Hypothetically, if there existed a scumteam and a Serial Killer, and both have unique kill flavours, and they both successfully shot the same person during the same night, would one kill flavour supersede the other, or would they both be displayed (eg. player x was killed and left in a pool of blood), or would there be another scenario?

2. Hypothetically, if a Hider hid behind a player who was scum, what would the Hider's kill flavour be?

3. Hypothetically, if a Hider hid behind a town player who was killed, would the Hider's kill flavour be identical to the killed town player?

Thank you.

Yes, ZZZX. There's one question.

If you were a Hider, and you were trying to play optimally, would you hide behind the person you thought was most likely to be scum, even if you hadn't crumbed it?

I don't expect you to read 116 pages - it's unfair and also unproductive. You're likely to be better served ISO'ing a few players and going from there.

Let me tell you i did that once at my really early newbie days

and i assume its the reason for the only blacklist i have on this site to date

so the answer is

No

like there is only risk and really low gain out of it.

if you were correct u survive

otherwise you pretty much give scum a free kill

I dont see any reason not to crumble. there are 0 dangers and only benefits if you crumble.

1. Kill Flavor would be 'Killed my multiple causes' as per Doctor Who - The last Great time war

2. Kill flavor would simply be 'died' as per YCBA 3

3. Yes. I believe so, that is how I would have flipped it.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Was trying to find the source links.

Last note - I will NEVER mod kill anyone for inactivity unless it is advertised as BAM ruleset I will always replace, unless it holds the game up in a night phase in an extreme manner (never happened) And as per rule 25, please don't ask for modkills.

Alright, so Jason has clarified a few things. We now know that Gwen hid behind scum.

Uh.

Thats not at all what Jason just said.

We know that Gwen was roleblocked and killed is what we know.

You can't role block a hider........

...why not?

She was either roleblocked or chose not to hide.

Do you think the latter is what happened?

Gwen played extremely aggressive with the Hider role. She targeted PS, who she was hard-scumreading, n1. So it seems likely that she played just as aggressively the night she died.

Hiders can't be targeted by Roleblockers, it says it here. Paragraph three.

So Gwen targeted someone she was scumreading. I wonder who sees where I'm going with this.

gwen did not die from hiding behind scum.

Jason

If a hider hid behind a person who was targeted for the night kill and the person she hid behind was doc protected, what would happen to the hider?

Have you been thinking this since she died, TWIE?

Posted: Mon Jan 04, 2016 9:23 am

no, i thought she was RBed and killed.

Did you never consider the Occam's Razor solution of her hiding behind scum and dying, at all?
