you've been a little follow-y at times yea? but also for example if town is on the wrong track i could see you taking this approach d1
but yeah idk ill keep this in mind for tomorrow or something and maybe we can cross check ur meta a little (assuming im alive lol)
My general belief is that passivity loses gamse as scum and I actively try to work against that The bottom line is simply that if I were scum I'd be actively playing toward a loss, as it is I just don't care lol
Pretty sure the only vote I've actively sheeped is the sleepless one (although, again, my tendency is to
not
do this, so)

shrug, i sort of hate voting slots who are just not here. guess it'll be interesting to see if my dream reads really do work
Based on my data no scum has landed 3rd in the draft with a number lower than 8, in fact they have been pretty consistently high (8, 9, 10, 11). If this sounds like a bullshit statistical coincidence, that's because it is, but I think the logic makes at least a tiny amount of sense because based on the data when scum go for a medium-low number they often also go for a lower which might collide, but it if it does, the medium-low number is likely to score a very good place in the draft (higher than 3rd).
Look, I warned you that it was dumb.

North can you give a quick readslist, maybe brief summary or the linestyle I do?
Unless you agree with Datisi that it is antitown or just want to make me lose a few hairs to mild mald

Also just kind of curious why you haven't advocated a Sleepless vote a bit more doggedly

Actually worked through me/you and went a bit further.
2822 doesn't do much for me, the conclusion "one is pocketing the other" felt arbitrary and I didn't like the conditional add-on at the end of 2835 at all - feels like it's making a show of re-evaluating on a scumread that wasn't going anywhere

Wait nope 2835 good point that last line reads poorly

The read "wasn't going anywhere" because he hasn't been scummy since I got here real-time. I was already reconsidering. When I saw that he had the same thought as me, I read it open mindedly.

A lot of our point is that the line about how answering might flip the read felt very performative.

i kind of liked catboi's 2871 -> 2886 progression at least

Thats why I just made a post with the actual reason for it.

seems like too specific/not enough data for me to materially change my read but fair enough, interesting

And that post was exactly why I made the sharper one. The initial felt like it addressed the "not moving" part exclusively.

A close observer might note I quoted the post, meaning I still felt it unaddressed within that context.

It's the middle of the day so my kids are awake. I'm far from a close observer

something like this probably:
{nsg}
{andante, mare}
{IV, skitter, SS, faker}
{flow, datisi, menalque, cat} - null
{midway, cakez}
{sleepless}

it's hard to defend someone who just isn't here and who is most of the time nigh-unreadable, and i only have so much energy when it comes to hardcore tunneling sleepless (and i think that only so much talking is actually that effective, it hits its limit and then becomes counter-effective if you overdo it). i was advocating in my own from the other day by just straight up asking people to vote with me (which i find is surprisingly effective) and by questioning everyone's reasons for voting another wagon. that being said, i do appreciate that people have started to notice how much of like the last forty posts he's made have all just been random like self-preservation snipes, so maybe later i'll try to point that out a bit more clearly.
