I don't see how Rhinox of all people got lynched there at the end, I was reading him mostly town the entire game, both during play and after death. You should have lynched holy like I said

With holy, it was a matter of anti-town vs scummy. I didn't have a read on esurio, and nacho I had as leaning town (I actually came back on tonight just in case I got lynched so I could give my vote to him). Esurio was able to get by me because he agreed with me to some degree early game and entered the game townish. That gave him a free pass from me until I read him in ISO, but with this game, I didn't really put as much effort as I should have. Concerning the Kmd tunnelling- I was pretty sure he was scum, as he was not acting like I expected he would (NK wifom was awful, really). I guess he just didn't put as much effort either seeing as he created a thread in GD/MD stating that he didn't like mafia anymore/quiting/it was a chore.

I just wish I was scum this game. Not because scum won, but because I was able to get off the lynching block so often.

Nope. Not trying to excuse my behaviour, just explain it. Big difference. 'Excuse' connotes being apologetic/having done something wrong, and I am offering no apology nor do I particularly feel that I've done anything wrong/scummy. (Blatantly and unabashedly half-assing my way through the last few game days isn't pro-anything except maybe pro-jester).

Ugh. Full-scale mafia apathy. Very very tempted to replace out, but I wouldn't wish 107 pages of reading on my worst enemy, soooo.... yeah.

This was 110% genuine, btw. I need a nice long break from mafia for a while. e_e

Role Notes
-There was no cop, miller and framer were red herrings for both teams.
-Inventor had 2x vig, 2x roleblocker, 1x doctor
-If the mafia day vig used their role, they would become unable to perform nightkills
-Lightning Rod was double edged, while it would live given the bodyguard, it would give away who the tracker was to scum watcher

I thought town did a very good job with town reads, infact they never gave scum a vote. They just also had town at the most scummy on average. If LL lynched holy it would have been interesting, especially if he left his vote going to rhinox. Would have created a 4 player kingmaker game, where town could have won with the right lynch and pass to right player.

Esurio probably wins the "most likely at top of list" award. Throughout the game lots of people had him in top three for a large part of the game. The winner for town read accuracy would be Charlie, who when he died had only one scum in his top four spots.

Batt, I put more effort into this game than I've put into a game in quite some time. I thought trying different avenues was necessary with everything being so wrong so far. The NKA TM turned out to be very tedious and took forever. And I didn't seem to be gaining any info from it, so I dropped it.

Oh, and when you (Batt) posted the Vote Counts, Nacho became obvscum and I was hoping people would catch on and lynch him.

Well, I think this'll be my last game for a while. I'm not great as town.

I really should have lynched Holy after she voted for Batt. To be honest, I was giving her a bit of a pass for reasons that really shouldn't have factored into my thinking, and once I let it get to that point it was very hard to turn around and lynch her. Of course, we actually should have lynched Holy a long time before that.

Esurio: was that whole Amished 'slip' thing deliberately staged? Did you already know that you were taking his comment out of context? I was so close to voting you but I read that back and it convinced me not to. If I'd found out you were scum from that situation, I think I would have been more inclined to call Holy scum because of it, so it was definitely a good play on your part.

I think we had some terribly anti-town play early on in the game that made it too easy for scum to coast (SV's endless repeating of phrases, Richard and millar's fake claims to name a few). We might have done a bit better if it hadn't been for that.

Thanks to Llama for modding, it was a good setup and everything was smoothly run.

The first post I made about it was actually genuinely thinking he made a scumslip, cuz I was skimming things and not reading context. I realized my mistake shortly after posting, but at that point I'd realized it was better to milk it for all the potential town-points it was worth than backpedal immediately.

but that pails in comparison to me getting lynched there. WTF seriously.... That came out of no where while I was away for the weekend Locke you didn't even give me a chance to answer your questions or respond or anything. Fuuuuuuuuck, my longest game on site ends with a speed lynch on me while I'm away....

The longer the game went on, the more I kept doubting my reads. I thought about rolling a dice the last day between all the remaining players except locke. I should have stuck to my guns regarding holy. I knew there'd be at least 1 scum bussing chrono, but I don't know if I would have realized that both nacho and holy were scum. I'd have probably never got esurio. Man I really had a feeling Batt was town all game but doubting my reads the last day and looking at the wagon analysis the day of chrono's lynch and all the crazy paranoia from him throughout the game.....

BAAAAAH!



I think Nacho gets scum MVP in my opinion because he was active and really turned it on late in the game the last couple of days. He seemed to be genuinely scum hunting and asking good questions at the end. Esurio, holy, kunk, chrono... I mean, congrats on getting the win and all, but it was more lurking to victory. Esurio impressed me with his first couple posts after replacing in, then nothing. All the biggest lurkers in this game were scum. Were there even ANY town lurkers this game? I can't remember any... You can bet that thanks to this game, I'll be a lot harder on lurkers from now on.

Yeah, I have to apologise profusely for that, Rhinox. I was expecting scum to make an attempt to look super-pro-town so that even if we did lynch correctly again, I would hand them the game by passing my votes to scum. I think that influenced my thinking too much and for most of the day, it felt a bit like everyone was scum because there really wasn't that much activity. I was close to voting both Esurio and Holy, but I remembered my last gut read that I went against (that Poro was town in /in-vitational 8), and that combined with the fact that you hadn't posted all weekend made me worry that you were just waiting for me to make a move. As it turned out, it was Nacho who was waiting to do that.

Its alright though, we were pretty much screwed anyways. we'd have had to lynch holy. Then you'd have been killed and had to give your votes to me or batt. Then we'd have had to lynch scum again (nacho or esurio), and then whichever of me or batt were nked would have had to give the votes to the other. I was a pretty close to giving my votes to batt before I went back and looked at the chrono lynch. But it'd have been pretty tough to pull a victory out even if my lynch didn't happen there.
