There is some discussion in dead thread, and there were certainly some oversights: for instanced I thought that 1shot vig would be strongly incentivised to stay quiet to maximise the odds of shooting scum later in the game — I didn’t consider the possibility of them outing D1 as likely, which in turn made the psychologist more powerful

I was very close to shooting skitter but I didn't trust the town to follow up if I was wrong and lynch PP so I was actually going to shoot Frank (as he was the counter to Kerset)
But someone tried to sneak a replace out in night state which, tbh, was a give away
I suppose my mistake was that I didn't know how to handle skitter, having never played with her before and I interpreted her awful read on me as scum play but simultaneously believed her disdain towards the setup - that alone should have told me something wasnt correct in my assessment
I think town got a bit lucky with the way my claim and RB tied together which gave the MD loads of power too
It must be pretty tough to make a setup where its bulletproof against an unlikely set of events that cause some one massive advantage so my sympathies- Farkran

Hi, i tried to spectate this because i was interested in the players list
Unfortunately this was in the middle of TM so i had little time to dedicate to actual gamesolving and speculation after d2 start. Still, i liked to see some proper fakeclaims for a change, so good job PP.
Setup was definitely townsided though, i'm too green to have any word in reviewing but i'd fully support making the games more averagely balanced towards scum. That said, i don't fancy mountainous-like setups so i'm slightly more in favor of stronger scum rather than weaker town in terms of power roles, but that's just me.
For instance, i would like to see more counters to town investigation such as Framers/Janitors among the scum ranks. Janitor in particular can lead to more fakeclaiming fun, moving the discussion from setup spec to scumhunt when a nk flips hidden. Framer could be fun too but it's probably more useful in non-normal games, unless it is specifically ruled to work in an environment such as this game (i.e. Framer would plant all of these: A. scum evidence to cop, B. gun evidence to gunsmith, C. kill capability to psychologist). I'm only suggesting these two because i used to play with those back in my era and i remember rolecop/janitor scum teams being super fun to work with and against, but there could be more interesting roles i'm not aware of that could help rebalancing. I am also a fan of scum roleblockers, they could use some more spotlight too imo.
Also, instead of masons, in games like this and the Normal i played a couple months ago, perhaps informed hidden ICs would work better - think of them as masons without the ability to chat privately - Player X would know that Player Y is town, Player Y would know that Player X is town, but they cannot communicate. The purpose of this change would be taking away the focus from private chats in favor of the main thread, promoting day activity, handshake gambits which would mean more fakeclaims, etc. To me, mafia is fun because unexpected things happen, as long as they aren't bastardly interfering with mechsolving.Farkran is back poggers-Alisae - Farkran
