Could be? Considering that Wisdom has hard distanced his buddies in so many of his scumgames, he shouldn’t be so quick to clear either Imaginality or Valkyrie for that.

Can you link/quote that post? I’ve been feeling his play here seems different here because he was so extremely engaged and solvy in OMB and he also seems tonally different here.

On STD v TSQ my initial take was slightly suspicious of STD and pro town on TSQ. Someone mentioned TSQ plays like that as scum also so that tempers my town read slightly but I still like his side of it. Still figuring out how I feel about the STD side of it. I didn't see the initial post as scummy but the initial reaction to TSQ's pressure did feel a bit hmmm... Like, I didn't like the retrofitting 'oh but look at the reactions I generated' part of the conversation. However there was also a hint of confused 'what are you on about'-ness to it.

Interesting also at Gypyx defended STD against TSQ early in that debate.

I think this is a really good catch:

On the other hand the Gypyx wagon gives off terrible vibes and feels like it fucking sucks, with scum latching onto it.

When I'm in a better mindset (hella tired right now, just reading to stay caught up, not really capable of good critical thinking), will be able to give that better thought.

This is an interesting callout; the only person you have south of null voting that is currently voting for Gypyx is imaginality vs. 3 who are voting for Brain Cell.

I'm gonna reiterate up front that my top priority right now is getting to Night, so I'm willing to hop on most wagons regardless.

The Gypyx wagon was because he pointed out that mastina did the thing she said scum would also do, right? And meta stuff? I don't really care about either. Like yeah scum could jump on that mastina thing but I'm gonna need more than that to be convinced, and meta isn't it. My #1 thought on that wagon is that I hated the way imaginality hopped onto it.

The BrainCell wagon was because... what? Words vs content? Mech spec? I don't care. It's possible I missed/forgot more compelling reasoning. Unfortunately I didn't really absorb anything ssbm_Kyouko has said because my eyes were glazing over as I got to the home stretch of the catchup

I did a metadive on Skrew, couldn’t find any recent scumgames but I couldn’t find any examples in the games I did check of them calling anyone “lockscum”, which they did to both me and Fire. Also, the excessive grumpiness was also not present in those games.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Kyouku was an odd kill?

Nope. I'm happy sticking with this. Active in the game but almost completely contentless. Not really committing to any reads or anything, just kinda there.

The Whemestar interaction around the Mareep claim is the most signal we've gotten out of their noise, but I don't think it's alignment indicative. (I did get a good laugh out of "I'm mareep, you dolt" though. Kudos.)

@brain, why do so many of your posts have so many words and so little content?

1) Rich, coming from the slot that went "writing 400 posts about whether an anonymous hydra does or does not contain a particular player is a good use of my time".
2) Have you seen the way Quinn talks normally? They either blather on for 40 pages or they post a one-liner. It's what they do.

I think TIL is town, despite my annoyance at their question (and honestly wishing I thought the chowchow fixation made them scum because that's also annoying), but there's gotta be at least two scum on our wagon now just by like... math.

With that in mind, my reads on this:

I feel like we've given plenty of feedback on what STD has done that reads scummy to us, and plenty of reads in general, and it's frustrating to have that reciprocated.
