I was not happy with that. Of course, NM was going to fake a guilty on me so thanks for shooting him. I was being sincere when I said "best vig shot of 2020."

I didn’t even notice that he tried to strategically replace out.

PP was in bit of bind. If he had surived to lylo he would have been sure scum.

The odds of him suriving to lylo as town bg were certainly low.

you had confirmed pops. a50 and frank clearly being town. A pr that would leave a hole in town power if scum.

So any chance of a win would resolve around taking confirmed town pops in 3 player lylo.

Actually, in the Micro I just modded the Bodyguard made it to MYLO. Frank was in that game as scum, and I was going to do the same thing here that he did there and push him for the lulz. Long shot, but probably my best. Pops being PR dashed those hopes though.

scum being unlucky and losing 2 scum day made that role really strong.

But a dead rb would have always ended in your lynch. As a dead rb woudl ask the question why wasnt he strongmaned n2. Only gooble could have had reason to kill skitter over rb. Thus if gooble was lynched and flipped town it would beg the question why wasnt rb killed ealier.

So was always going to ask the question how come pp inst dead. If scum could of killed rb they would have and if they couldnt teh strongman has been used up. Thus why didnt pp die instead

I am disappointed PP got lynched. I wanted it to be me today. I really wanted to shame gobble/pops.

Anyway, GG all. Also Thanks for modding, Menalque.

To be fair my disdain was for a setup that didnt exist

But from my pov as things were 'revealed' day 1 i thought we were living in some bizarro fantasy land that made no sense and i was starting to get sr for feeling that way which is why i ended up claiming

I agree

My issue is once we have all the info after your claim we should have lynched you or pp on day 1 because it was silly

I would never like to see alignments janitored, but I think role janitors are possibly good design

in a non-normal game i think bus-driver etc. are part of the insanity

but man i would hate to see framer etc. in normals

You would only ever see that in a multiball, which could make sense though. In a normal game only scum janitors should be allowed.

I agree wrt bus driver. Don't see why framer would be that bad in a normal when ninja is also normal, although i noticed godfather is not. All of these roles mess with investigation results, so i would think either all of them are normal or none are - ultimately it would be down to the mod to have a balanced setup containing those roles, but it's understandably frustrating should it happen that an investigative is good enough to check the correct target only to have his skill shot down by the setup, so perhaps it would be better to leave check results modifiers outside of the Normal range.

Janitor has nothing to do with that though, and it would complement the nature of Normal closed setups to allow multiple fakeclaims, imo.

The philosophy behind normal queue inclusion is that it's generally unfun design to have an investigative whose reliability is about ~90%. At that level, it's virtually never appropriate to follow dayplay reads instead of the guilty, but then it feels you lynch according to the investigation results and lose. Sane cop in an environment where godfathers are allowed is about 90% accurate (godfather might not even be in the setup, and if it is maybe you didn't hit godfather.) Framed results are again around 90/10. Tracker results that have been ninja'ed usually don't generate a 90/10 investigation. If you track when 2 or 3 scum are left, the investigation's accuracy is already like 33 or 66 false innocence, so the result already has low faith.

A solo ninja getting hit by a tracker is completely identical to mafia godfather in being one of those 90/10 investigations, but that's a specific subset of gamestates, where for godfather it can happen when one, two, or all three scum are alive. You could argue that we should have zero tolerance and that ninja should be banned just because of this possible scenario (or maybe Ninjas should be only night one and two) but that's the reason for the discrepancy. I think I saw a couple people in normal queue discussion say they're in favor of banning Ninjas (I'm in favor of it)

Your point is perfectly understandable and i probably agree. In a democratic votation i would probably ban ninja from normals too.

I would like to add though that framer has another difference to what you stated above, and that is the difference between mechclearing scum and mechguiltying town. Clearing scum with a 90% chance would spell town loss in most cases, guiltying town with a 90% chance only spells town loss in lylo or lylo-1 (assuming you lynch the cop the following day). In all other cases, you lynch town, maybe you lynch the cop, but then you learn there is a framer and get back to work on day reads. Depending on setup size and number of kills per day/night, this could make sense or be equally frustrating. The longer a game lasts, the more a Framer would fit in it, i'd think.
