as skitter said, the claim didn't actually necessarily make that much sense because of the timing regardless of her alignment

i thought about it and i'm with something smart that the cop should claim. not sure other roles outing beyond that is necessary. not into voting lilith without even a doc/rb claim to act as a potential alternative explanation for the lack of kill (and i'm doubtful about whether we have that one, either)

I think the world in which it makes the most sense is one where a strong scum player suggests it to her. The goal being to try to get a mislim, and the only downside being forced into claiming (presumably) her real role.

god if I were scum it would have been such a good fucking play to no kill, then get lilith to claim JK and claim her shot on me while I was under pressure, trusting in me to not get executed despite that

the question is, if no doc, do scum ever no kill on N1? bc I guess it's too big brain to be reasonable for scum to no kill and to then claim a JK on me? right? to try and get me eliminated for the missing NK

fwiw, although self-meta obviously, I almost certainly don't push lilith here if I'm paired with her

if I bus I go for the third team member, and I probably don't bus at all given how confused the gamestate is

I'd say it's no longer "early game" so I'm no longer feeling constrained from delving into pick analysis.

Every valid combination other than {S_S, Infinity, Petapan} requires lilith, Menalque, or a 4.
By far the largest set of combinations requires at least one scum to be a 4.

In terms of roles we may have a tragic comedy here of every single town role being useless or close to it. And I'm down to zero people I can trust in terms of TRs.

with dave posting, i'm making the assumption that none of him/smart/infinity/me/menalque are claiming cop.

technically, i suppose, not_mafia could be cop, i had forgotten jv was above tgp in the draft order, but i find that unlikely. if he's not, then we don't need anyone else to claim because presumably someone in that group is scum who took the cop role but isn't claiming it. that's a nice little mechanical pool.

I thought Dunn was hinting there was a different reason for the no-kill than you being JK'd.
Consider it a compliment that I think you're totally capable of towning it up as scum.
And I have a hard time understanding lilith's play if she's scum, without that other reason for the no-kill.

the question is, does scum gamble on cop still being available at 4/5/7, risking a valuable pick on a purely preventative play when roles with more utility are available, or are they more likely to take a flyer on it low in the draft when they're unlikely to get anything useful
