Huh. Reading Neil, I'm actually not sure whether he was a good guy or a bad one, but I guess most of the characters are intended to be somewhat, er, disagreeable.

Sorry for my non-presence yesterday -- the game fell off my radar, and I'm in enough games that I didn't think to check it (and didn't know it had hit Day until I was prodeded post-nightfall) -- thanks for not lynching me!

(admitedly, mostly thanks to pbug!)

Armlix, who did you investigate?

Armlx said he can't do the same thing two nights in a row. He has to switch off. So, did you kill CP? (I'm assuming that armlx is not the ninja-girl, because she's killed two nights in a row. Also, CP's death doesn't seem linked with LML's.)

Any other thoughts/comments from the peanut gallery? :D

No, Nicole, I tried to kill you. I sent a PM and all. In hindsight I should have tried to kill IS. There are 6 possibilities:
1. nicole is night kill immune townie
2. Nicole is doc and self protected
3. Nicole was protected by a doc.
4. Nicole is the ninja chick and is night kill immune
5. Nicole is Godfather
6. Strykker didn't process my PM (almost happened night 2)

If it is 6 i would actually rather have had my kill never happen, as it leaves options for tonight and 2/1/1 is much better for us then 1/1/1 (see paragraph 3). I'm wary of Nicole, but I want a flavor text claim from her before I do anything.

Over all, I think we have 2 scum dead. PBuG is obvious since he edited his role description. CP also shared the "held due to murders" part of his PM with PBuG, I have no clue which was scum. But CP also wasn't killed by the ninja chick. I also think the ninja chick is an SK or mafia.

I think Crola, LML, and Drummer were all town. Drummer was also suspicious of CP, fitting in with the fact that Drummer was killed the next night if CP was scum.

Right now, I feel the set up is 4/1/1. That means we must hit today or tommorow becomes 2/1/1, which is not fun. Right now, we more or less have 5 unconfirmed townies and me. Drakno is not scum IMO as his gambit saved me more or less, and he is innocent per investigation. Of course, PBuG and Drakno could be mafia, and PBuG would reveal the note to look like town but give the opposite result.

I am going to go along with a SpeedyKQ quote and say "When in doubt, lynch IS".

Vote IS
Away Wednesday the 24th through the 31st

I can honestly say that of those possibilities Armlx, #3 or 6 are the only ones I see that could be true. First off, I'm not nightkill immune (as far as I know), so that rules out #1, 4 and 5. I'm not doc, so that rules out #2.

#6 is obviously one that can only be answered by the mod. So unless that happened, there had to have been a doc protecting me. From what I understand, the doc's protection pm still goes through even if he dies that same night. Which means Dranko probably was the doc and now we're without a doc... :(

I'm not sure where I stand on the whole IS thing... I mean, if PBuG really was scum(which seems to be so, considering that he modified his pm), then why would his own partner lynch him? Well other than to throw suspision off himself by getting his partner lynched, thereby making himself seem more town-friendly. I will wait for more evidence...

Perhaps roleclaims are in order from everyone? Or should those wait? I also think that any vigilantes responsible for ANY of the nightkills (night one or two) should step forward.

Also, I'm confused on PBuG's role pm. If he was going to edit it (which he did) to take out parts that make him look scummy, I'm not sure why he changed the parts he did. The actual role PM didn't seem like anything that would make him look scummy. Also, keep in mind that Crola also edited his role PM.

I'm not sure how much mass claims help (too complicated roles to be able to predict what's out there), but am curious what others think.

I also don't think we can read too much into the night pm -- we may have had a 4 person mafia and two sks (as I -think- armlix is suggesting), but it might be that the security guards were just a kill method.

Just a note by the mod, the only characters in the nightkill scenes that actually represent you all are the person killed, and the person killing. The person killed will be identified, the person killing will not. I don't want you guys reading that deep into the storyline.

Good.

So, how many mafia do people think we have left, anyways? I think we have one dead and 2 alive, myself.

i'd probably say the lack of posting is an effect of the holiday weekend.

Due to the editing, I think that we have two scum down, 1 left, but we also have a sk or a vigilante, maybe both.

*wakes up* its Tuesday already?! what happened to sunday and monday?

Oh yea... I was DRUNK! LOL!

Anywho... yea, holidays make people like go outside and stuff, its scary.

I also feel that we have two scum down, with two left, possibly 1 mafia and 1 sk. I doubt we have a vig(other than armlx), because they probably would have shown themselves.

This thread is too quiet.

Vote: mneme
. PBuG said yesterday:

[quote="PBuG"]I'd vote mneme, but I'd like to express caution.[/b]

PBuG also edited his role PM. Why he did, I'm still not sure, but I think it's blatantly scumtastic that he did.

Therefore, I think we can deduce that PBuG was scum. Which makes the above post very suspicious.

Also,
mod
: can we get a replacement on IS? He said in the vacation thread he won't be back until the 11th.

hehe... ya know, I think that EYNH has a valid point.

If PBuG is scum(which I have no doubt of), then why would he not want to vote mneme? Only explanation I can think of is that mneme is his partner!

Nicole: huh? He wanted not to look scummy, so he avoided a quick vote for yt. Competent scum try to avoid commenting on their partners, or really go at them and try to be convincing.

Hmm.

PBuG acted twice to defend Nicole -- once very early, by attacking Puzzle (see above), and once by the autolynch yesterday.

Good enough for me.

Believe whatever you want to, but I am NOT pbug's partner! Perhaps he realized that people would start looking for his partner and picked someone at random to defend, so as to throw the suspicion off his real partner.

mneme, this can wait. Don't think you're off the hook, though.

Unvote mneme, vote Nicole
. I see Nicole trying to jump on a fledgling mneme bandwagon, and then being overly defensive when she gets a vote. PBuG defended both of them, but Nicole's reaction to the accusation is for more scummy than mneme's.

Oh jeez... not this again? :(

I really hate being seen as overly defensive... I was not trying to be. I think I might be starting to make the mistake of posting too much... because it seems that the more I post, the higher my chances of being lynched are... especially when I'm townie.

I guess since I'm still fairly new to the game, I haven't found just the right amount of defensiveness to have so I don't look like too defensive, while still having enough to not be seen as being arrogant.

I do however like my vote where it is, until I see something to change my mind.

I love when the games get to the point where I don't even need to post Vote counts anymore.

After a mostly uneventful day in the town, somebody gets a brilliant idea. "Eh, let's kill Nicole. That oughta be fun."
Dispite a slight attempt by Nicole to sway the town not to kill her in the end. Well you all know.

Looks like Nicole is today's winner...and speaking of winners, who is this Nicole anyway. Another wonderful google search shows the true name of Nicole to be...

Liezl (Pronounced Lee-Zell) Laurel – Ex-Military Ninja!

Liezl was born in Japan, as a child she was placed in the secret Japanese military program, in which children were taught to be better than America by any means necessary. After spending the first 17 years of her life in the militaries underwater deep diving program she put her plan to escape into action.
Late one night she snuck into the supply room where the wet suits are kept. Stealing a diving suit she quickly made her way to the beach where she started her long swim to America.

About halfway through the swim above water she realized that she was not going to make it. In a last ditch effort to survive she turned on her oxygen tank and passed out.
Fortunately the tank lasted longer than she had expected, and by the time she regained consciousness she was sprawled out along a beach.
Unaware of where she was she began aimlessly wandering along the water in hopes of finding someone. Before long she encountered another person walking along the beach.
“Who are you? Where am I?” She asked?
“My name’s Carina, this is Murphyville.”

It's night now, you all know this drill. Deadline for nightchoices is Wensday, July 13, 2005
