k anyways the problem I have with oversoul is that he acknowledged that 2birds role could be changed but followed with trying to stifle any sort of doubt about the mod-confirmation. If anyone was trying to push a quick lynch it was him, he didn't even take a second to evaluate alternatives.
He starts off by suspecting Shadowgirl and showing her where it says in the WR thread (when he already admitted it could be different).
When I confirm my role is different he says so what his is verbatim. However what my point was is that there I can confirm that some roles were changed, so it wasn't safe to assume his wasn't.
↑ Oversoul wrote:
↑ ShadowGirl wrote:Although, it has been said that the role could be modified. As I see it, it could be considered a 'worst role' in light of being either alignment.
Worst role means that it is very hard to win, not that it is hard.
What is this doublespeak shit? I don't even know.
He also says:
↑ Oversoul wrote:And for any person believing 2birds, please reevaluate your gullibility index.
Really? Your the one believing the mod in a bastard game, A type of game that exists soley so the mod can screw with people.
↑ Oversoul wrote:You remaining alive for the very sake of your role will be detrimental to the town even if you truly were town. You would realize this if you were town and accept that your lynch is the best thing to do.
Good night scum.
Wow so if he was town he'd want himself to get lynched? No, townies are looking to lynch scum not townies so wanting to get lynched as town is fucking stupid.
and again, this is a fucking bastard game. In a town with a vote magnet and someone who's gonna explode, you think there are alot of people who aren't a detriment to this town?
and the buddying onto GNR is quite retarded:
↑ Oversoul wrote:=
Elmo was a scum read of mine for his hop onto the Birds wagon so I have no qualms over his shot.
Really? so elmo is fucking scum for doing the exact goddamn thing you did?
↑ Oversoul wrote:Wouldn't GNR as scum kill Birds to look the most townie? It isn't like Birds is going to live by him not shooting if he was a dayvigging scum.
Yes because I often as scum with a dayvig shoot my fucking scumbuddy in the face. Why waste your vig on your scumpal when you can shoot someone not of your alignment?
↑ Oversoul wrote:
Also, I think Mass Claim Day 2 might be a good idea given how many people have already claimed.
Goddamn this is the worst. What kind of stupid ass reasoning is this? cause you know, the only people that are claiming because they HAVE to.
Okay robotnick what the hell? masons are always good for town. I mean I am a bit perplexed by the normality RP is claiming, but there may be hidden problems with their role, such as death miller or whatever. Can you two tell us your role names? Or at least chimera, because RP has some reason not to reveal all of his info.
Also day 2 seriously lynch/shoot/eradicate agent_Ireland those votes on gnr (he voted him 2 times in sequence) are fucking terrible and so is that smoke bomb.

Okay, let's see if I can use my knowledge of the role... or what little there is... to try and divine the trigger. It will probably be to do with how much attention we give you, be it little or less.
Would it be scummy to try and detonate Moneybags? Cause if not, I think ignoring him for several pages may cause an explosion of self-centred attention whoring.

You guys post alot in a short time. I should be able to read and catch up on things tomorrow. This post is here in case I don't get caught up until wednesday. I don't want to get prodded especially if I missed a rule that involves modkilling or force replacing people that get prodded to some degree

That last post was kind of weird
but yeah there can be a certain time delay between me and my posts, but not always. the point is, there are things affecting me that are outside of my control. So I can't always post what I want but I am quite capable of posting.
First of all I will attempt to prove the the two voting restrictions.
VOTE: Chimera. If he has to vote me his next vote will change, But if maniacal is telling the truth the vote won't change. I'm not sure how the mod will compromise these two if they're both telling the truth. seems like an easy way to test both of these at the same time. Also I am willing to follow this pseudo confirmed mason reasoning, thoug why aren't you voting him RedPanda
It also seems that the neighborizing outside role (BBmolla) and the modkilling role (shadowgirl) are made for each other. It'll at least allow the people who outside /in will not succeed in their win condition (whether they are town or scum) so overall their won't be any overall damage to the game. I think if she was up to it (and didn't have any other aspect of her role that would affect it) It might be worth an experiment. But maybe her role is better worth using as a 2nd town lynch.
Also people I don't like: Phil, dankillsu, Robonick, Captain Haddock. and agent ireland ಠ_ಠ
that is all.

I'm pretty sure that my vote's going to stay stuck to ML. I was told I had to cast a vote on the most recent vote against me...nothing about whether or not that vote would actually count in the case of another vote-affecting player.

Yeah I have more to my role then just being a mason.
That was the first thing I wanted to talk to chimera about.
Will read through the other posts when I'm back from college.

This is Worst Role Mafia.
also I kind of agree with this.
Alarm bells started ringing when he never talked in the qt.
Then i have this unnecessary line in my role pm which says something like "masons and I know that guy to be pro-town"( I don't know If all mason role Pms look like this.)
Anyway I'll talk to him in the qt. figure him out.

. I notice you're very eager to please - don't want to be making any enemies, eh?
Also no, it's spelt with only one P but I didn't go to read the PM when claiming my role.
↑ Amrun wrote:TSH, your basis for suspecting gnr is terrible. How does taking a selfish shot make him scum? Shooting a player that's hard to read for him is scum selfish how? As scum, why would he care about who is hard to read?
Because town would want to be altruistic, not selfish. Town SHOULD want to help town - don't you agree? Do you deny that 2birds would have been a far better shot? I don't think shooting someone he finds hard to read should have been the priority - there are 23 other people in the game for him to read, and to read that one person he can't: it stinks and I don't believe it.

I already have.
Moreover, your #60 does nothing.
↑ saulres wrote:I vote when I have a solid reason to vote someone.
My argument is that thinking it's a bastard bluff should have prompted you to investigate who was trying to take advantage of that fact and therefore given you a solid reason to vote someone. In addition, the rest of that post simply whimpers in the saddest AtE I've ever seen. "Woe is me, I cannot start games, oh woe!"
↑ saulres wrote:This feels like distancing. If I though ShadowGirl was scum (or if she flips), you'd be next on the list.

Is it distancing? That tells you we're BOTH scum. If you don't think we're scum then what the hell is this?

pretty much covered what I'd say about Chimera/RedPanda. It's a lot of WIFOM - i.e., yes, we expect one of them is scum, but then is that the worst role aspect, that we'll assume they're scum when they're town? I was ready to propose that we wait until one of them said or did something scummy and then I saw this, which I think qualifies:
↑ RedPanda wrote:

Why wouldn't Chimera's role PM have that line in it? Derpslip that you're not pro-town?

Oh boy.
Do you think it would help town to detonate Moneybags?
If so, why do you care if it looks scummy?
SCUM care about doing things that look good rather than doing things that help town.
TOWN should just try to help town, regardless of how scummy it makes them.

(Only saw this now because I didn't look at all dozen spoiler tags).
Is it a habit for you to say if [so and so] flips [whatever], then [so-so] is next? Because that's the second time you've done it. Even worse, I think, is that you're making an unsure claim - 'If I thought... was scum [although hypothetical town works as well]; if you don't, why mention it? This is like wishy-washyness+lining up lynches all in one.
And I wanted to give you a hug.

Phil, please answer my question.
@RedPanda, hmm. I'm keeping my eye on you but I can see how you might have meant it that way. Yes, masons normally confirm each other as pro-town in their role PM as far as I know.
@CaptainFish, get over it. He clearly states that he only wants to know if there is more to the role than just mason, as this directly influences the likelihood that one of them is mafia. He doesn't ask what the additional thangs are.

Apologies, didn't spot that there was a question there. I guess exploding him would only be good if he were scum, so we'll try not to. Keep mentioning Moneybag's name, to be on the safe side. I'm just interested to see if we can derive how some of the roles work.

I DID read it properly. I was pointing out that he tried to see if Redpanda had a power role. How is that not rolefishing?

Ok I will let scum live as you asked so nicely! It doesn't make either of them anything, and why are you so sure it isn't an excuse? Oh that's all right then! Redpanda saying if he had an additional role and describing it would be a bonus, which is why he didn't tell Redpanda not to claim his role.

I don't think they're plain masons, that's just silly
One of them needs to specify if there's more to them then just mason willy nilly
Because if they both claim just masons, normal as can be

*If they were only masons, they wouldn't be "worst roles" - and so if they claimed that, I'd be very suspicious. It's a given that everyone has some sort of restriction or limiting powers, so do you really think asking whether he was JUST a mason was really going to give anything away? If I asked someone whether they only has a post restriction do you think they'd automatically claim what the rest of their role was?

That's your opinion. It's not mine. That doens't mean I'm scum, it means I play differently than you do.
↑ ShadowGirl wrote:Is it a habit for you to say if [so and so] flips [whatever], then [so-so] is next? Because that's the second time you've done it.
Then I guess it is a habit
Sometimes (often?) I have null reads on someone, which will only go one way or the other based on associative tells with someone else -- which I can't get until that other person flips. In the case you're quoting, I have a null read on Hippos, but if you flip scum (which I doubt, because I have a townread on you) I'd be looking for additional relationships between him and you.
As to why I mention it, would you rather I don't mention where I think people should look for connections? I've been helped in scumhunting by dead townies who posted their associations (and other thoughts), and then when I'm rereading after more information comes out, I suddenly see an association they mentioned (or something else) and catch scum. So why wouldn't I want to do the same for others?
