Nai, you are my hero.

Also, I noticed cropcircles and Yaw are fosing eachother, but not voting eachother. Seems like this might be a tell. Right now I am more suspicious of cropcircles for my aforementioned reasons.

Elvis -- I can only vote for one person at a time, and I picked up on Aureal first.

Seeing as the deadline is approaching... and that I thought I had already unvoted Yaw:

Unvote: Yaw
and
Vote: cropcircles
. I may not have internet access for a few days, but I'll try to get on when I can.

Fine. He's second on my list anyway, so I'll throw on the fourth so this day actually gets somewhere.

Unvote: Aureal
,
Vote: cropcircles
. That's lynch minus 2.

Ok -- I haven't been on for a bit (computer blew up and I'm timesharing with Mr. Flay until the new parts come in and I can rebuild). Sorry about that.

So bear with me for a moment as I try to catch up.......

Somewhere back there, Aureal said something about outing the doc? Did we out the doc and I missed it? Or is she just stating that as a worst-case scenario?

Also, does it matter if one alleged frog believes another alleged frog? How would they know?
It's better to be lucky than skilled, surely. However, it's a lot easier to be skilled twice than lucky twice.

You guys are idiots.

I am San, AKA Princess Mononoke. Anyone who has seen that movie should know that that means I'm pro-town.

It's officially tuesday, so I think I'm lynched anyway. I know this looks like OMGUS, but this...

San Vigs Elvis tonight, if I have anything to say about it.

Honestly, if anyone knows anything about Miyazaki or Princess Mononoke, they know that San is garaunteed to be in this game, and pro-town. I shouldn't even need to claim ability.

But no. Instead of forming a wagon which has an actual case behind it or doind so when the player in question has time to claim, you guys go for the last minute plan. Real bright, guys.

Can someone tell me why I'm being lynched? Becaused I FOSed Yaw? Because I defended Aureal against a pathetic case? Are you guys serious?

Hey, I'm not going to outguess the mod. I'm just trying to determine if it's a valid claim or if you've been given a safe claim. Since MeMe never got the chance to claim thanks to frogginess, I haven't the slightest idea how Nai's set up the scum.

Iammars has graciously agreed to back me up with the modding schtick. I've sent him the whole game set-up as well as the previous night actions, just in case he sees the need to have them. You guys have until the end of Tuesday (by my clock) before deadline falls. Person with the most votes (and first to get those votes) wins! I mean, will be lynched.

I forgot we have a deadline! Cripes, not even half a majority required for a lynch? Interesting rules. o.o

Hm, I really don't feel very confident about this, but elvis has raised my eyebrow a couple times, first by asking for the confirmed innocent and now with the rather precarious reasoning for starting a wagon on cropcircles. If we're going to end up lynching someone, I'd rather it go that way.

Wow, glad I checked in. Sorry cropcircles, I will admit that my list of suspicous people had you as third (with Yaw and Elvis_Knits slightly above you), but with the deadline looming, I figured I had best vote so that my vote counts, so there isn't a huge swing while I'm gone.

Unvote: cropcircles
and
Vote: Elvis_Knits
. I almost want to ask who you will Vig tonight though (if anybody), but just in case: Aureal was my innocent last night, so do not Vig her. You should have a greater chance at hitting evil with that knowledge. If you read through how I kept ignoring Yaw's attacks on Aureal, it should be pretty obvious why I kept swiping them away now (which is a reason why you and Yaw were so high on my list).

Actually, it may be best to tell us who you will Vig: that way, I won't investigate that person. Hopefully you can slip that information (if you choose to) in here before the deadline.

Just checking in briefly. Wish I had the time to do some proper analysis. With the deadline looming and no real solid suspicions I am still weary of casting a vote. Elvis does seem slightly suspicious to me, but I do not like the deadline rush. I will try to check in later when I hopefully I will have made up my mind to some extent.

In light of this new information regarding the deadline, I retract my earlier statement regarding the intelligence of the town.

Unvote, Vote elvis_knits
That's 4, by my count. Nai, can we get an official count?

Well, Yaw attacked me and Aureal, and hasn't unvoted despite my double-likelyness-of-being-counterclaimed claim. How's about I "confirm" my ability on him? He seems to be high on a few people's lists.

Oh, he also attacked Aureal for "wishy-washy" voting based on the fact that she said "I guess..." at the beginning of her post, yet completely ignored the fact that the wagon started on me was based on something that
seem
[i/]
ed like it
might
be a tell. Bias much?

So let's see. I voted cropcircles because of his weird D1 antics, fosing Yaw and not voting for him, and also his weird defense of Aureal. I am the first one to vote for cropcircles. Other people agree with me and bandwagon him. cropcircles claims vig but doesn't say what his night actions have been or anything like that that might be helpful in proving his claim. Everyone believes him, and turns the bandwagon around on me, for reasons that are not clear to me. Seems like you all didn't like me voting for cropcircles. 1) Since when is a first vote a death sentence? 2) Would you rather I not vote for anyone? 3) Three other people voted cropcircles, why all the suspicion on me?

Some things that bother me about cropcircles defense:
Right after I voted he said:
cropcircles wrote:
elvis_knits wrote:Seems like this might be a tell.

In and of itself, it is not. It some situations it can be, but not this one.
Then after he has a few more votes on him and is feeling caught, he said:
cropcircles wrote:You guys are idiots.

I am San, AKA Princess Mononoke. Anyone who has seen that movie should know that that means I'm pro-town.

It's officially tuesday, so I think I'm lynched anyway. I know this looks like OMGUS, but this...elvis_knits wrote:

I think these two posts are important because it shows how he didn't say anything about being suspicious of me in the first post. It's only after he has four votes on him that he tries to point the suspicion back on me.

Also, cropcircles says what a stupid idea it was to bandwagon him at the last minute and then does the same thing to me:
cropcircles wrote:Instead of forming a wagon which has an actual case behind it or doind so when the player in question has time to claim, you guys go for the last minute plan. Real bright, guys.
Being hypocritical and judging people by different standards is scummy to me. I stick by my vote.

The Vote Count That I Made While Listening to Monty Python:
Elvis_knits(4): Aureal, PetroleumJelly, EnderX, Cropcircles

Cropcircles(2): Elvis_knits, Yaw
Not Voting(X): Medicated Lain, VitaminR, W!nt3r, Orbiting

11 hours by my count (EST). No idea what time zone Nai's in, so if I don't find out what time zone Nai's in, we'll go by EST.

All right, Elvis_Knits, I threw together a list as to why I think you are a good bet for lynching.

-Post 23, you vote Orbiting for making Meme 2 from lynch, when she is actually 3 from lynch

-While questioning Meme, all you had to say was “this is officially crazy” and “this is really weird”. After the lynching was done, you said you should have unvoted but you “didn’t know what was happening with all the craziness”. I have heard somewhere that scum often say they are constantly confused, so it becomes easier to explain their actions.

-The very next day, the first thing you ask me is “who is your innocent?”, after I explicitly said I would not give that information out unless I felt it was necessary.

-In Post 164 you hypothesize that the frogger is pro-town, ignoring the fact that frogging does not help the town whatsoever (on the surface, anyhow).

-While we are try to get information out of the frogs, you say “how are they breeding?” (Post 170), and that “two frogs are
very
suspicious” (Post 182). Granted, you ask a good question in Post 184 by asking about role copiers/reflectors, and from there, you begin contributing to productive discussion.

-Your saying two people FoS'ing each other but not voting for each other is a "scum tell" of cropcircles and Yaw: with likely two scum left, I highly doubt they would try this maneouver so early in the game, and cropcircles "antics" Day 1 really do not warrant a vote. I followed because deadline was imminent (and still is), and cropcircles was third on my list (below Yaw and you), which was high enough for me to see the lynch go through.

As it is, the new lynching deadline means I better keep my vote on you or put it on somebody else. As I understand it, if everybody unvotes, it only takes
one
vote to lynch
anybody
.

When the voting turns on you, you say that cropcircles hasn't claimed any night actions: Vigilantes kill people, and since we have only had one night-death, I believe it's safe to say that he hasn't had any actions yet. Further, Vigilantes are fairly easy to prove after one night. I doubt we have a role-blocker (or I would have been role-blocked, most likely) so all we need is for cropcircles to tell us who he will target tonight, and if that person doesn't die/isn't saved, we have a place to start for lynching the next day.

And your defense to turn voting away from you has really been a Straw Man: you defend yourself from voting cropcircles, when in fact (as I listed) there are other reasons for voting for you. The rest of your post attacks cropcircles, without defending yourself. I am willing to listen (so long as I can make it back here before the deadline), but I don't think I'll be voting for cropcircles today because of the Vig claim, so you need to defend yourself well before I take off my vote.
