It's fine to comment on it, but your response read as 'I don't realize this is a joke' since you were taking it super seriously. Again, as I said in the post you quoted, I don't care about the content of the post or your response to it, more how/whether you took it seriously. Taking it seriously indicates a headspace in how you're approaching the game and I'm not going to understand any of your perspectives until I understand that viewpoint that I currently can't get.

Hectic has a very good win rate and is a great player based on the hundreds of irl game I've seen him play. I think you're letting your dislike for joking around cloud you on his amazingness.
