Scum don't overtly buddy each other in public. MR and I are never scum together. It's infinitely more common for scum to interact with their partners less than town.

The vibe I reported isn't so much a Town read as a 'this is what I'd expect if someone was susceptible to reacting in certain ways and was Town' read.
