When have you played with Sword before? This appears to be the first game that that account has played.
I've played a couple games with him on our homesite - a couple games where I was town and he was scum, and a game where I was scum and he was SK

so yeah, haven't seen his town game but in my experience he does tend to post like this even when it's not really strategically optimal, so i am not sure it's an intentional strategy / alignment indicative

I will stand by that I think he will become easier to read as the game goes on tho
Do the games on that site tend to be more casual?

I admit I also find the hyperposting to be a challenge to deal with. I am used to 20+ player games (some 30+!), but most went at a much slower and more methodical pace than what seems to be the trend nowadays. Although really, the one-liner spam is in some ways a lot easier to digest than the dense wallposts, even if it is a difficult style to play around.

Depends on what you define casual as.
I mean like, a lot more random bandwagony, sheepy, people voting for jokey reasons, more reliant on mechanics like investigative roles than making social reads

that may be true, but there's also only so many hours in the day for wading through pages of nothing

also, flooding the thread can just as well be a mafia tactic to swamp genuine discussion and make it harder to build a case

No need to change, I'm the one who needs to adapt. I don't mind it, really, it's just... different than what I'm used to. I'll just make sure to try to join any geriatric/mountainous games when those pop up.

I think you misunderstood what he meant by mafia miller.

I read his posts to mean a town miller who invests as miller, not a miller aligned with the mafia.

Advising the potential town-aligned miller on what they should did not raise my eyebrows
