My initial reaction was that PV's claim looked odd due to his putting his early vote somewhere else, but bbmolla's reaction to PV and his ongoing posts after that made me think that he was more likely town than PV was. And I felt like my interpretation of Mastin's reaction on day 2 might be naive. I've made mistakes in a few games recently by thinking too simplistically.

You call it rolefishing. I call it trying to figure out which one to lynch, because that was the choice as I perceived it - lynch the one who looked to be lying, don't lynch the one who looked more useful to town. His posts suggested there was more than met the eye going on. I felt like I was helping to move the lynch off a town asset. At the time, I thought bbmolla was possibly masons with the cop, though that seemed like a lot of town power.

I don't think you understand what it was about Aegor's posting that worried me. It was the weathervane aspect to his play. quick vote on the guy who'd evidently been trusted enough to get two results from a cop, and was instrumental in two scum lynches, and then a poorly telegraphed change when the winds went the other direction.
