And then I just sat here and looked at Esp doing nothing for the rest of this cycle to avoid getting into shit while posting on other parts of the site.
Yup.

Will look at TSO tonight.

Even the stuff you're posting, like this, can equally be attributed to, let's say, singer - except I have a fucking excuse for doing this, while singer most certainly does not. Meanwhile, back at Gestalt HQ, Nacho is townreading singer!

so ffery went into some pretty good details why they think empire/singer is town

do you think singer is scum? if so why is actiondan a stronger read for you?

Ok Gamma, I think for a fair chunk of the early game I had a similar reaction to Tammy and the weight of her influence as what was happening in Baker with you. Opinions?

theyyyy're kinda similar i guess

in Baker it felt more like extreme paranoia and a little tunnelvision than the wariness and suspicion I'm seeing with you and Tammy here, but in Baker it was much much later in the game.

how do you feel about actiondan and tso and singer?

I hope to have this done in a few hours but I'll definitely just post what I have by this afternoon.

Did you miss the reads list or what?

Town: Cheetory6, Oversoul, Titus (*ETL), T S O, Vezokpiraka
Town(ish): Actiondan, ChannelDelibird, Espeonage, Gammagooey, GuyinFreezer, singersigner

Somewhere in between: Aronis, Bulbazak, Deasvail (*Antihero), Mastin2 (*Antihero and ETL), Shadoweh

Would Vote: Marquis, Untrod Tripod

This?

No, I didn't miss it. I found it somewhat disappointing.

TSO's ISO is full of little things that make me feel like logically he might be scum, but my gut isn't particularly interested atm. I think I might be getting tunnelly because like 25% of the notes I wrote were theorycrafting on how Titus/TSO could be scummates. q.q
Ffery, can you please tell me why Titus is leaning town for you? If I'm getting too caught up on a bad read I'd rather know sooner rather than later.

Uh I've seen her play in two games but I think this is my first time playing with her.

Not much at all, but he's modding an ongoing I'm in. So I'm a little reluctant to engage the TSO/Titus theory until that game ends. It likely does center on the bad assumption I am scum though. This does flow logically as I think Cheetory realizes this. I can see the gears turning there.

lack of data, reasoning, etc.

Also a lack of something that from metaing you I expect to see in your scumhunting.

It's OK, I'm not
that
stupid. You can say "blocks of text."

Do you disagree with any of the reads?

Oh no wait, BBP just ended today.

That game was a train wreck.

We had an unkillable, unblockable, serial killer with a track who got a guilty on Reck N1 for making me the ideal first flip. Literally, that role was broken as fuck. I was just basically trying to keep my head down in that game and not piss anyone off. There was mathmatically no way for mafia to win that though.

Point on TSO ignoring his teammate's read on AD while voting for him does look a little bad.
He should at least respond to that instead of flailing about how his wagon is bad and singer's vote is bad.
VOTE: TSO

Cheetory6 wrote:Uh I've seen her play in two games but I think this is my first time playing with her.

I used to scumread her by default because of a constellation of behaviors that ime are often associated with scum.

- "bad" logic for reads
- excessive tunneling
- stances that from my perspective are completely divorced from the gamestate.

It took her turning up town a bunch of times before I got past "scum" being my default setting with her.

And I started to get a handle on what *actually* differentiates her scum game which comes down to opportunism. There are also differences in her crumbing behaviors.

her play in this game tweaks me at times, in terms of her efforts not to get into pointless back and forth. Part of me asks "would her teammates who are all of the "just keep repeating it" style of tunneling behavior would be a balancing influence for her in avoiding that behavior. But, even when I'm arguing with titus all the while assuming she's town in this game, I tend to worry Nacho because he's *that* convinced she's town in this game. The last time we played with scum titus (we were hydraing) by the end of a normal length, normal mechanic day 1 we were in agreement that something was seriously off. Things are off, but things are off in most players' behavior from my perspective because we're all proxies for 3 other players (to varying degrees).

FFery,

Do you look at what's possible and work backwards or do you look at what's likely and make assumptions based off that?

*twitch*

P-Edit: But are you not at all worried that she might be tryhardscum going hardcore for breaking her usual scum-meta tells/avoiding her typical stubborn towntells to avoid getting lynched? Because I really really really get the impression that the lack of argumentativeness is coming from a place of "I want to see active but I don't want to piss anyone off and get lynched" rather than what she's pushing as "I want to work with people".
