I think we had a mechanics check and discovered that unless the scum team had an additional special ability,
They couldn't hand out shards *and* night kill in the same night.

I can also give out two shards.

Just as a footnote I haven't done that, but it does beg the question of why we jumped from Low to Medium already, knowing my own own inactivity. The implication that scum chose to give out shards slightly tilted me

that ability seems pretty strong, at least in certain universes, but it's not clear what universe we're in yet

if we assume there was a scum demon and there isn't another town role like yours... hmm. are there other explanations?

nothing changed -- i was asking that question because i don't understand why *exactly* one scum, or how we arrived at that conclusion. why can't they be scum together?

im not big on trying to solve the whole puzzle at once. i think unflipped associatives are a waste of time (i know i'm thinking 2 people might be scum together, but it's got nothing to do with associating them, i just find them both scummy). but given today's events, if those 2 were flipped scum, dunn would be an obvious candidate. im also just not impressed with spiffeh at all.

The reason Annie asked for a shard was to be powered up. There's no benefit to a middle ground at all.

I think there was only one demon day 1, though, because we were at "Low" shard count. So if you think that, it leads to medea-scum from that viewpoint.

My wording is exactly specified as 1 demon or 2 demons. Because Medea claimed they were a demon. Not whether there were 0, 1 or 2 demons.
