Hey, did you see above?
Elmo has half a vote.

Yeah, it seems Elmo is our resident voting mechanic mechanic.

Elmo, any thoughts on what happened to your vote?

Ok I’m the Boilmaker with the council. Basically I’m a badass politician whose been raised in the ranks. I’ve got flavor that calls me pretty dreadful. People fear me and one day I will rule Sucrio. (So you can see why I was like w.t.f am I town at first glance) I didn’t do anything to the Giver, but nor do I care about his death. However I’m also a pansy who scared about the killing and the city being on lockdown.
My ability is active and I make boils onto people. Making them hideous and others barely wanting to look at them. The next day my targets vote only counts as half.
N1 no action
N2 I was going to do no action, but mod auto did this…I think I was sick or away, no matter.
N3 I did my action on Elmo. I figured his vote would be 1 today…surprising its .5.
I reference boils I think once on purpose in I’m sure I could find in my iso….and its pretty obvious what I did last night, and its why I agreed earlier that Elmo could certainly be scum when VPB suggested this, but he didn’t see a town countermeasure…obviously I knew I could be one/it.

See kise? That's basically what a claim paraphrasing a mod PM looks like! xD Now I admit it doesn't look like exactly the most townish role. At the moment though I'm tempted to believe it, but actually I might not (see below).
A claim from elmo would help matters. There is just one question I have, but it's kind of a big one I guess. Why on earth would benmage wait until AFTER we saw the .5 vote? He could have claimed
before
that and he would have been like 1000x more believable. Furthermore, he didn't jump straight at elmo when trying to figure out about the voting thing, he looked around at everybody for the discrepency. So, what's up with that?
I believe the only people left are elmo-ish and Battle Mage...?

Yep, one of ben and elmo are scum, guaranteed.

I was lookin for other missing vote...I solo pursued this vote thing. I also paid extra subtle attention to elmo in my requests...but I was thinking if there was maybe someway I could incriminate another, or find a scum through all this...things didnt pan out that way so I just claimed.

Couldn't you have just told Elmo to vote, though?

I think the fact that Ben has been
looking
for someone with an altered vote lends his role credibility. Now whether this sounds like a good guy role... hmph. A badass politician that is feared and doesn't care about The Giver dying... but he's a pansy? AND he boils people?

@Benmage- That is not vanilla.
Also, is your ability permanent? I keep noticing vote counts that contain "whole votes available". I assume multiple people could have half votes.

Yeah, there's no "other missing vote."

Go go gadget catchup post.
Kise - Geezer. Fits with earlier business. HOWEVER, I'm putting a huge * because ultimately that is a role that now isn't going to be killed AND thusly (due to play) I'm not comfortable around at lylo. So, yea.
Elmo - Lo and behold, still no claim.
Benmage - Boilmaker. With boils.
Couple questions:
1.) Who was the N2 on?
2.) How does the rule read? Is it "Their vote will count as half." or "Their vote is halved." (as specific as you can be).
I, too, tend to agree that both of the voting manipulations will not be town (needless to say my money is on Elmo).
Battlemage - Lo and behold, still no claim.
--------
There's some flavor issues I'm trying to wrap my head around (which I'm wondering if its all a red-herring).
The scum in the OP are "The Converters" (Named after its leader). Now, that sure makes one think cult when one thinks about it. HOWEVER, Stark's claim is "The Cult of the Goma". Note, not the Dark Goma. And, I don't think I've seen the term Goma referred to by itself...ever. Which makes me worry.
After the final claims (and I'm prepping if someone wants to be a helper) - I'd love to see ALL the claims in one post so we can compare and contrast some things.
Further, I think there's gonna be a cost-benefit on some lynches today. With all the pieces out it'll be interesting to see whats up.

I wanted to be subtle..its obvious i did it to him..i thought there was another vote action thing, still curious how his vote is .5 and not 1.
I also wasn't sure if I was going to try a gambit on someone else...i was >>>><<<< this close to asking kise if he recieved anything last night in some rando attempt to see if he'd lie with my fallback claim..i.e real claim on elmo...but then thought fuckkkit

I told ya right off the bat I was confused I was town and asked mod...told ya i was a -er..s'all checks out.
Sajin wrote:@Benmage- That is not vanilla.

I don’t think its permanent. I know it isn’t vanilla. Hell thought it could've been damn good. I only used it last night to show there was a counter to elmo, to not assume him auto town and to have something to reference since people have been pushing this mass claim…I wanted to wait till lylo/endgameish before using.
I think someone asked, but I didn’t use it N2.
Has Vaya/Plum name claimed themselves? And how about who they targeted last night?
SpyreX wrote: "Their vote will count as half."
Closer to this.

Oh and I dont boil people (hot water)...i somehow create hiddeous nasty pus filled boils on people..like baaaaad pimples... so people become ugly and others hardly want to look at them let alone listen to what they say...i.e their vote being halved.

Needless to say I think we're ALSO missing some actual NAME claims from those that have claimed.
@Ben: I thought you said N2 the mod auto did it hence the ?.
And if its "Their vote will count as half" the argument COULD be made that it is "half a vote" not "half of what their vote currently counts as" which would eliminate ANOTHER role screwing around with the VC

Spyrex wrote:Needless to say I think we're ALSO missing some actual NAME claims from those that have claimed.
^This. Again.
Also, Spy, I rechecked my role PM and it makes reference to The Dark Goma as just "the Goma". I think it is fair to question flavor, specifically regarding this cult business because that is unconfirmed thus far, but in this one point I will say it is consistent with my role PM.

We already know that elmo's vote is .5 instead of two, which accounts for both missing whole votes.

Yes, but why is it .5.....the wording in my opinion makes me believe that if his vote was 2 my action would make it a 1.
I could be mistaken so meh.
