I've noticed that. This is the 5th game I've played with votato where he was scum. He's won all 5.

It was fun to have someone unrelated to us sub in. I'm sorry it wasn't as fun for some of the other players. Definitely don't want to whine in postgame, but some of those subouts were pretty damaging to the game.

Yeah, it's annoying when people play basically every game with a new alt. It really gets on my nerves.
I feel like the Lairs were overall good for this game though. A couple more Lairs in the setup and I think it'd be townsided.

this is the first time i've included a neapolitan in any normal setup that i've designed. i suppose you'll just say that one is too many, but i think announcing neapolitan is an interesting role. i think that announcing is sort of an underutilized modifier anyways, given the interesting twist it introduces to roles.

anyways, good game to scum, and well modded by georgebailey (although, if you don't mind my saying, i don't think you should have said that zlair asked to be in the replacement queue, nor do i think firebringer should have made that sort of public accusation of cheating)

anyways, if anyone would like to talk about the setup, i'm all ears.

NSG i thought the announcing nea was fun. the announcing modifier does add an interesting twist. i think maybe had scum played better we could have won the game purely on claims. then again, thats probably true in just about any setup.

Announcing Neapolitan was really interesting. I liked it. It had potential to add town unity and warn scum, both facets played out in this game.

I think the rolestopper was too much. Although scum can't have known at start, the only roles it could stop were the Neapolitan and Jailkeeper. The Rolestopper used "correctly" on the scum member who executed the kill would mainly have the effect of preventing the Jailkeeper from blocking scum kills. (Can't block both the Rolestopper and the killer.) Jailkeeper is weaker than doctor except it gets to block kills, so the Rolestopper seems like it nerfed the same power a second time. SInce Neapolitan is already a weaker cop I think the same point applies there too. I think the setup would be more balanced without. Maybe the Backup would have rebalanced, and the lynch without claim Day 2 was balance-upsetting, but I don't think there were enough nightactions in play to need the Rolestopper.

I don't think this is normal, but I've always thought it would be I retesting to have town PRs that report all their visits to the scum team. Announcing gets close to that, something like a Disloyal Announcing Cop could encourage scum to counterclaim before the real cop claims a guilty.

i do think that this setup was on the scumsided end of things. i made it that way after looking at data from normal games last year that seemed to indicate that the meta was such that town didn't need as much power. that being said, the rolestopper was a bit inelegant and might have been better as some lower power role.
