Solution: if someone's not going to play for more than five days (for a reason or not), they should just be replaced and no questions asked.

Yeah, as I said earlier, if today ends in a mislynch, tomorrow is going to be a bit of a nightmare.

Force-replace Iconeum out of the game or I am taking this to the listmod.

You know you didn't hammer yourself right?

Like it still might be a no-lynch, Iconeum is almost certainly not going to check the thread and I don't think it's a guarantee flipz drops in.

In case it ends up mattering, I'll take this opportunity to point out that if I was mafia, I would be in a prime position to take the win by lynching Creature here and then quoting him to try and force the lynch onto Pops tomorrow.

At this point, I can't afford to just keeping on flaking around since a no lynch is obviously far worse then a mislynch. Even though I don't see the exact reason why town!Creature is more likely town!Pops, Shoshin obviously did, even when she was working off of a lot of the same information. Her reads have been good enough so far this game, so I think that I do need to respect them instead of potentially throwing the game because I wasn't quite able to see what she saw.

VOTE: Pops

Sorry if this turns out to be incorrect Pops.

Tbc as well, I'd started leaning towards this position earlier today after having more time to think about the game. I'm aware that the self-vote by Creature could be a gambit, but this is the direction that I was already starting to move towards before that happened.

And given the unfortunate circumstances around Ico's low activity and uncertainty around whether Emperor will place his vote before EoD, all three of us have to be willing to self-hammer if it comes to it if we are town.

Could you explain how selfhammering as town helps the town? I don't follow. I think Creature is more using it to escape a terribly moderated/participated game. Which is admittedly tempting. I asked to replace in to a slot that got filled, then when I looked closer at the game and realized it ended up having a 12 day night which is kind of a cluster..
I wasn't itching to replace anymore but McQueen queued me to replace.
I definitely regret inning now.

I replaced into this game because I thought it needed some kind of tending, but didn't expect to enjoy it that much. So if the point was to be helpful, it defeats my only point in it to leave in a way contrary to my wincon.

But if you can explain how it fits my wincon, I'm out of here.

The suspect pool is me, you and Creature. If Emperor doesn't show up, the only way that a lynch happens is if someone self-hammers. If a no lynch occurs, the suspect pool remains just as large and we only get one swing to find the scum instead of two. As such, lynching any of us today, even if it's a town, is better then not getting a lynch off at all.

It's not mod's fault, it's just that the level of inactivity and apathy this game is just too damn high for any of the sides to ever deserve a win or even have a fun game.

Better than a nolynch.

Also scum won't selfhammer anyway, so town will have to go down today to reduce PoE tomorrow.

If you think I am gambiting scum, then just hammer.

However if it ends in a nolynch because you decided to not hammer, then in honor you should refrain from ever lynching me the next day because I gave you the opportunity to not nolynch and you refused.

I've definitely been enjoying my other games more than this one.
