What he didn't realize is that the Alliance is obviously going to terminate him tonight.

There is a CHANCE tubby is town. If he pulls that maneuver there is absolutely no way BM is town.

Not to mention that killing cult is just as important for the scum as for the rest of us. We end up killing BM for not playing in our reindeer games and he's cult, tubby should bite the bullet too. One way or another.

The problem is that

(and I know it's if) I'm right, and BM is tubby's recruit, if we kill BM, tubby can just recruit another player tonight, thus not solving our cult problem at all.

If we lynch tubby today, under the assumption that, like a normal cult, recruiting powers are restricted to the leader, the cult can no longer recruit. At MOST they have 3 members. From there it's just cleanup.
