I don't consider that to be a particularly strong town tell in a draft game.Yes my Lord, but questions are dangerous, for they have answers.

Awesome, so this town is going to go full retard and lynch based off a fucking Role Name.
You guys are absolutely the best town I've played with. High caliber. Best Town Award.
And Glork, SO PARAGON THIS GAME.
That ODM lynch day 1? BRILLIANCE.Yes my Lord, but questions are dangerous, for they have answers.

Okay, everybody just chill the fuck out for a bit, we need to process this tornado of info.
I'm waiting for SpyreX's post, we'll see if it leaves me feeling red hot about an LLD lynch or cool blue.- Elmo TeH AzN

Spoiler: D1 Late VC's
So I'm having a hard time stomaching the molasses as being town-town humpty dance because it was like pulling teeth BUT the only slowdown is the simple fact a NL would have benefited scum holistically more than even a bad lynch.
So before I go into that part lets do this which I was waiting on:
1. Debonair Danny DiPietro - Town. The push on a neighbor makes sense AND the pullback instead of fighting against the machine is town.
2. Locke Lamora - Town. Activity isn't where I'd like it but he's making sense in that "actually looking and trying" kinda way.
3. Elmo TeH AzN - Should be dead. Seriously. This is on the short list and is part of my questions later.
4. FuDuzn - The early vibes have shifted into a fat stack of nothing. I'm not stoked.
5. Glork - Town. While a crafty devil still town. IF Noc is scum AND Elmo, LLD and Mike are town maybe. Maybe. Really doubtful even then. (this is doubly true because shock and awe I'm betting he was the NK)
6. Lady Lambdadelta - Honestly, while I think scum its not as strong as others. However, on the "needs to die" scale its a fat 10.
7. mikehart - Very likely scum. The neighbor business is a symptom of do nothing and skate on by. This is doubly so considering late yesterday.
8. Nero Cain - Welcome to fat stack of nothing land. This is one of those "ohh wow they're in this game" parcels.
9. Nocmen - Town. The PGO claim wasn't what I'd have done but it makes sense from the dont kill selves on me please angle.
11. PeregrineV - Town. This one should be a bit of a *gasp* but while the logic train was so off the rails it hurts there's no way scum's trying for that avenue that early. Town thinking SCUM FOUND would absolutely.
13. Untrod Tripod - Welcome to fat stack of nothing land. This is one of those "ohh wow they're in this game" parcels.
So, cut that into sections:
Town - DDD, LL, Glork, Noc, PV
Wastes of Slots - UT, Nero, FuDuzn
Scum - Mikeheart, Elmo, LLD
Here's the kicker when looked ata against the VC:
ODM got front loaded by the latter half of that while Elmo at peak was entirely Town reads. At that juncture you'd expect a push from scum one way or the other (unless Elmo "won" the draft for scum). UT being the shift vote normally would be that aha if it wasn't for two "awesome" factors: LLD and Mikeheart voting for no one in essence forcing SOMEONE on a wagon to shift in order to make anything happen.
I don't think I've got this nailed down right and as much as I'd love to pat myself on the back I know I'm missing something key. Gut says Elmo scum protected by a non-voter with the final being NOT UT to keep all the eggs out of that basket on a D1 lynch.
But it seems too... easy? That end-day was a debacle and I can't believe we're running active scum versus fat stupid town in it.
-----
On a more different note Glork:
You claiming vig is a good segue into the talk I wanted to have today anyways about draft mechanics versus roles - with a PGO claim and your 2-shot vig how the hell do you think the draft mechanics work as a function of alignment? Considering I got GF its not an A/B setup but the pieces aren't congealing unless this is supremely power heavy which maybe but.
More importantly: Why didn't you shoot Elmo? That would have made today a lot better overall.
If this dumb calms down Elmo makes more sense on the overall scale but if its gonna be OMG 1V1 GLORK well I'm more than happy to oblige but never, ever, EVER is Glork dying first in that trade.
P-Edit:
LLD isn't about the claim. God in heaven. That's just another piece of "this doesn't make sense" to cap off the tasty treat that has been LLD all game.- Glork

Spyre: I was debating between a tornado toss on LLD, mikehart, and nobody. I felt like either of the other two would have been a remarkably more beneficial kill than Elmo, who is still decently likely to be scum, but removing one of the others from the equation made things a little more black and white and a little less muddled.- SpyreX

Hey screw you buddy, Spyre......bad player yes, waste of slot no.
LLD's claim does scream of bullshit and I would tend to not believe it, and I have a hard time believing that if Glork was a vig he wouldn't shoot(guessing he was blocked. But I have a hard time also believing scum would make a claim THAT bad
Hindsight and all that shit, I should have went for an Elmo lynch.
Also, people are getting way too claim happy.- Elmo TeH AzN

Keep in mind that the scums probably have characters that are a part of the show, too, but I have no idea what the nature of their group would be, so keep your apples peeled.- Glork

Just to clarify, in case I'm missing something, have people just revealed lots of information about several abilities without actually getting us anywhere?
Also, I'm really not a fan of LLD's play so far and I've never watched the show, but it's pretty easy to see how the claim does actually make sense: http://www.imdb.com/news/ni18926435/.If ya smell what The Locke is cookin'!

Slept on things, have some thoughts to share with you gorillas.
First, to clear up any confusion, MoS is the backup mod, and was an "Out of Towner" who was driven out of this bonanza during pre-game, so he's just been mentioned as a part of the game's flavor to get things rolling.
Secondly, looking at PereV's post, I want to know who "took out" Chad Ochocinco last night, and whether it was a ROLE ability or a TEAM ability that made Ochocinco scat.
Thirdly, and this may depend on who answers the Chad Ochocinco call, I'm considering rolling the dice and asking for a PARTIAL massclaim. If I did this, I *think* I'd want names, as well as TEAM abilities, but not PLAYER names, since we might be able to put the scums in a bit of a pickle if we do things right.
Fourthly, mikehart had exactly FOUR posts yesterday, all of which amounted to "I'm in a neighborhood" and "I've been busy, I'll catch up later," and that looks like a steaming brown pile of horse manure. This was one of the reasons I had considered rolling the dice and going for a mikehart vig last night, and while I wait for some answers, I think thatVote: mikehartis a pretty good idea.- FuDuzn

I did indeed visit mister Ochocinco last night. Im Shiva, a town aligned sabateur. Basically I can target a player and use my doctorly training to put them on IR. I targetted Ocho because he was the only player I bid on and didnt win. As for my lack of posting, its just kind of how I play. I know, people don't like it but its how I play the best in my experience. im not good at posting to get reactions so I watch the interactions between players and build cases as I see them. Right now I have trouble buying llds claim because having one named vt seems unlikely. Not necessarily not believing the name but rather not believing the role. She really expects us to believe there is one named vt while all the others are unnamed? Gimme a break.
Vote: LLDV/LA every weekend for awhile.

I really don't buy that explanation, it was painfully obvious that DDD had Ochocinco from the "child, please" post restriction, and you took his ability from him probably out of anti-town vindication for going after your bacon.
Also, LLD never said her role was VT as far as I can tell, she just called herself an Out of Towner named Chuck, so idk where you're getting that brown pile of nonsense.
Also, why would you use your saboteur ability on ANYONE unless you thought scum owned that player, there's no reason to randomly send players into the river, especially if you don't know if you're hurting a townie (which, just on sheer numbers, is likely).
Soooooo yeah, mikehart needs to get tossed into a tornado right now.- Nero Cain

LLD's play yesterday made my head scratch. And I wouldn't mind seeing her go.
but yeah lets see where this hart thing leads.
vote:MikehartOf all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
