The demonic noon starts to set around the house of doctor Wump. The town, in more or less, one movement, stuffs Coron into the refridgerator and shakes it around a few times, before throwing it out the window for the demons to devour.

The town enters Coron's room and looks around. In his belongings, you find multiple devices of torture. Pointy things, more pointy things, and lets not forget: The Cambodian Noodle Soup Of Doom.

Coron(Pol Pot, cop, protown) has been lynched

In the morning, to your dismay, you find one of your members missing. As you search the house, you cannot help but notice the overwhelming smell of nutmeg. As you enter the living room, ironicaly, you find W!nt3r, draped over the couch, beaten to death with a copy of The Wealth of Nations, the capitalist bible. You search about W!nt3r's person, and you find that he was Maurice Bishop, the Prime Minister of Grenada, and possibly the most kind and generous communist ever to walk the face of the earth.

The day begins with 6 alive, so 4 to lynch.

First, I have a remark/question of possibly significant importance. I noticed that the front page has al_kohaulec replacing Lord Rahl. I recall seeing Lord Rahl's name on the list going into night, but I want to ask anyway: Since you never made an official announcement,
Mr. Moderator
, may I ask the timeline regarding this replacement? (i.e., Did Al become a replacement before Coron's lynch, during night, or after night?)

My investigation result, unfortunately, doesn't yield many answers. I got VisMaior as guilty. Thus, either I'm insane - and warpdragon is a scumbag - or I'm not insane, and VisMaior is.
...and then there's the fact that I'm not cleared by any means, especially considering Coron was Pol Pot. And I could very well be lying - a possibility that I know everyone else is probably considering.

Regardless of what your biggest suspicions are, I want to remind everyone to be very, very cautious about voting anyone. If we're assuming there are two scumbags, this could very well be the last day via quick-lynch (especially if Don Gaetano is part of the lynch wagon) and nightkill.

Yup, I replaced LR or whoever it was. And as it looks like it's day, I'll try to read up on the thread to get a clear idea of what's going on. (Darn WoW for absorbing all of my free time!). So far I noticed that we seem to have a claimed cop, a dead cop, and 6 players left with, it seems we're assuming 2 scum left. Also, during the night I noticed that W!nt3r was listed as 'Confirmed Innocent.' I've never seen that on the player list before, so could somebody please explain to me (if I don't find it first) how he was confirmed innocent like that? Thx.

He was confirmed innocent from the beginning. He showed up like that in the player list. He was modconfirmed! Hello giant target on the head!

Out of curiosity.... who did you target for roleblocking, anyway?

EBWODP: I take it you got roleblocked then, VM? (You wouldn't be asking about a lack of role-motivation, otherwise...)

I targeted lord rahl.

Im still not buying your role, Glork. I find the lack of the "motivable" part really disturbing. I have an extra part which is 50%. Id assume with so many motivators out there, that everyone should have one. Both Coron and you failed to mention that. Whats up with that? And wy do you think I got roleblocked?

...I assumed that the role of the motivators was to prevent roleblockage..... as indicated by your supposed role, and Aelyn's ability. If you go back and look at N_Lich's claim, he said that his target has an extra 50% chance of their ability happening. After Aelyn died as a mafia roleblocker, this was my train of thought:
We know there's a mafia roleblocker. We know there's a 50% motivator. VM then claimed to be a roleblocker (for the town). Another 50% motivator was found, and at that point I figured there may be multiple roleblockers. I guess the key to figuring out this whole deal is trying to figure out exactly what a 50% motivator does... something I'm not sure we can do at this point.

As to why I never mentioned a second ability... that would be because I don't have one. And, as Coron never mentioned one either, I'm assuming that he didn't have a second one either, or he probably would have said so when he claimed. It's your ability that seems out-of-place, VM. Not mine.
FoS: VisMaior
... my scumdar is definitely pointing towards him moreso than anyone else right now.

So you work 100% all the time, so no motivation required?

But my extra action did not trigger....

well:
My 50% ability did not trigger. My options:

1. ryan lies
2. ryan got blocked by yet another blocker
3. some other reason, any ideas ryan? Or any of the other motivators?

About glork, he has a guilty on me
1. he is lysing
2. he is insane, in wich case warpdragon is scum, as he had innocent on him.

Ok I think its slowly time to claim my extra ability: i have 50% chance to vig the guy I block. Yesterday I block/vigged Aelyn, that should clear me. LR/Alkoholic survived, so I think I did not get any boost today.

Im a bit weary to lynch a cop, but I think we can check him by lynching warpdragon, who I am suspicious of anyway.

vote Warpdragon

All I can tell you is, I'm not lying. There's nothing in my role that would indicate that my motivation would fail. Maybe someone was protecting Rahl, or you're a one-shot vig, or some other reason.

ryanjunk wrote:So.... why is Glork not lynched yet?
Because there is the distinct possibility that I'm a regular cop or an insane cop (one who gets opposite investigation results). If we find out I'm a cop (whether insane or regular), then my investigations are still helpful to the town.

Anyway, I'm somewhat inclined to believe VM's role right now.... as it's the only thing that would explain Aelyn's death. His additional claim explains a lot, so I'll stop fingering him for now. If somebody counters with another vigilante/killing ability, though, we'd be right back where we started.

The thing is, VM... assuming that neither you nor Ryan are lying about your roles/abilities/targets, the only possibilities that would explain this past night's courses of action would be:
A) The mod made a mistake
B) Motivators work in the way I had envisioned, not the way you had envisioned.

As you said, the possibilities regarding my role are: Lying Dirty Scumbag; or Insane/Regular Cop (though as I said, I'm thinking I'm insane right now). I'm currently eyeing Warpdragon, but I'm not going to stick my vote on him at this moment for the sake of caution.

I just want to point out that if Warpdragon is lynched and he turns out not to be scum, the town has lost. So we can't "check" Glork that way.
