I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that Firestarter still hasn't even posted because he is disabled. You will have a whole new player tomorrow, as well as anyone who answers the Night question correctly will have two votes tomorrow. (plus one person will be disabled again tomorrow, though that person cannot be Firestarter). I am going to get in touch with him and make sure he following the game. Grammasite attacks will also happen, scrambling a few posts from D1."If you say live together, die alone to me Jack, I'm gonna punch you in your face."

Official Vote Count:
Aoshi - (4) Pesco47, imaginality, Kublai Khan, Porkens
TAX - (2) Soveliss, Knight of Cydonia
Not Voting: Pug89, TAX, ortolan, Badguy, Aoshi
With 11 posting it take 6 votes to lynch a player.
Waiting on Soveliss and looking for Aoshi and TAX replacements.
The last vote count was replaced by this one on accident. Sorry for any inconvenience."If you say live together, die alone to me Jack, I'm gonna punch you in your face."

My top three scum suspects:
Tax: I've said it before but way to concerned with not looking scummy.
Porkens: Using lurking as an exuse to label nearly every player as possible scum towards the beginning of the game as well as focusing on me (although he isn't voting for me anymore) when there was plenty of others participating less than I.
Aoshi: I I understand not being able to explain what his replacement was thinking but to so vehemently refuse to even discuss them seems very strange. Also putting Soveliss at L-1 while he was away. I understand he is used to playing differently but putting someone that close to lynch when they can't respond seems incredibly suspicious to me.
Vote: Aoshi
which puts him at L-1. I know he's not here anymore to defend himself but at this point in the game it's most likely going to be him or TAX, both of whom are being replaced.People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss Whedon- Pesco47

To summarise: Aoshi did this, and it was scummy. I'm doing it, and it's fine, though.Pug wrote: Aoshi: I I understand not being able to explain what his replacement was thinking but to so vehemently refuse to even discuss them seems very strange. I'm not going to hammer just yet - Pug, why was it bad for Aoshi to put Soveliss at L-1 when he couldn't answer, and yet you seemingly have no qualms about doing the same to Aoshi?- Porkens

It's not the exact same, we weren't at deadline and Aoshi isn't just away he's completely left the game, we're not not going to get a response from him and there is no telling when a replacement will be found. Also, I don't really think there is much point dragging out this day any longer than it has already been.Knight of Cydonia wrote:

Please rephrase your post, KoC. Much ambiguity can be drawn from it. There are 2 things being talked about in Pug's post, which one are you talking about?Knight of Cydonia wrote:

Pug finds Aoshi scummy for putting Soveliss at L-1 while Soveliss was away.
Pug then puts Aoshi at L-1 while Aoshi is unable to respond/claim.
Hypocritical, much?
I'd rather wait from a claim, we have 14 days to find a replacement. By all means, lynch then if the replacement's case for defence is poor, but it's not like we have a short amount of time. If no replacement appears and defends themselves, and we have 3 days to D/L, then hammer. Until then, I suggest we give the mod a chance.- Porkens

After much sleuthing and a few rest periods between chapters, the friends (and enemies) of Thursday Next reached a decision. They submitted their votes to the GSD (Global Standard Diety), and waited patiently...
Suddenly, and with varying amounts of coincidency (depending on how you look at it), a loud bang erupted from the top of a small hill. Overhead, an airship with an open cargo compartment slowly floated away. On the ground sat a bewildered Thursday Next, a protective Landen-Parke Laine, two angry bystanders, one bottle of lentil beans that were randomly clumped in no apparent order, and a broken and crumpled car that was stuck into the ground end-first.
After the commotion had passed, and the car had been cleared away, the SpecOps found a crushed and bloody body at the bottom of the crater. It was mostly indistinguishable, except for a badge and wallet containing the ID of Spike Stoker (A.K.A: Aoshi on the internet),Night Kill Vigilante. The friends and enemies of Thursday stood around the crater, shocked at the revelation. The GSD had answered their prayers...
It is now Night One.Firestarter is now active and may submit any night actions he may have. All night actions and question answers must be submitted by Monday, January 19th, no later than 5:00PM PST. Grammasite attacks will occur at the end of the night phase.
Still looking for TAX and Soveliss replacements, and will replace Firestarter if he hasn't responded to his prod by tomorrow."If you say live together, die alone to me Jack, I'm gonna punch you in your face."

As Thursday and her friends searched for the evil within their microcosm of a community, Thursday received a note from Ms. Nakajima directing her to Osaka, Japan.
Once in the city, Thursday, as a precaution, shook her entroposcope and found that entropy was falling quickly. She noticed a man with a T-shirt that said, "Follow me, Next girl!" printed on the back. She followed. Eventually, entropy had fallen so much, that everyone around her was wearing the same T-shirt... each pointing to her demise. She decided the best way to find Ms. Nakajima was to take use a phone book and head to the epicenter of the coincidences. In the center of the Entropic Disturbance sat a fortune teller. Thursday approached him cautiously, and instead of sitting in his chair, ran past him while simultaneously jabbing a pen into the "Nakajima" page of the phonebook.
Suddenly, a loud bang and bright flash erupted from the sky. A bolt of lightning had struck the fortune teller, and arced and struck the body of a close passerby. Thursday, relieved, went on to find a way to the BookWorld to rescue Jack Schitt from The Raven. Little did she know however, that the fortune teller and the passerby were two of her friends. In their pockets, police found identification signaling thatImaginality:Mycroft Next, Townie, andTAX:Thursday's Father, Towniewere the victims.
Unfortunately, one other player was burned by being so close to the lightning bolt.Badguyhas been disabled for the duration of Day 2 and will resume play during Night 2.
The good news is, Firestarter is now active!
All players received the same question during Night 1. Here it is:
Start at the second month of the year in the Julian calendar and go backward 4 months. Combine the antepenultimate letter of that month with the ultimate letter of the month during which Daylight Savings Time began in the US prior to 2007. Add to that the antepenultimate letter of the month named for "Venerable Caesar." End with the penultimate letter of the month of the autumnal equinox. The resulting word is:
Answer: Blue
Results:
Pesco47: Incorrect
imaginality: Correct (null due to nk)
Kublai Khan: Correct
Pug89: Correct
Knight of Cydonia: Correct
ortolan: Correct
Firestarter: Correct
Porkens: Correct
Badguy: Did not answer (null due to disable)
TAX: Did not answer (null due to nk)
Soveliss: Did not answer
All players who answered correctly will receive an extra vote during Day 2. The number required for a lynch will be half the number of active players +1.
Note: I decided to not use the "Grammasite Attack" function. The randomizers at Random.org aren't sophisticated enough to randomize entire posts.
I believe that's all the info... Day 2 starts NOW!"If you say live together, die alone to me Jack, I'm gonna punch you in your face."

Can I just clarify- the two dead "townies" were both vanilla were they?
And TAX was a very odd night-kill choice.
Please be very careful about placing down votes today, the percentage of players needed to lynch will now be much lower. I'm pretty sure it's 5 votes to lynch which means 3 votes will lynch someone assuming 2+ are from the double-voters.
I'd very much like to hear Firestarter's thoughts on day one.Currently modding Mole Mafia: http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=20529
Feel free to PM me to be ready in case I need a replacement.- Pug89

Yes, I believe so. Also, it looks like there might be two scum groups. It's possible there might be a protown role with a NK, but since Aoshi was a NK vig it seems unlikely. Obviously there's no way to know for sure untill they end up dead or the game is over, but it is something to keep in mind later in the game. Can I just clarify- the two dead "townies" were both vanilla were they?
I agree, he may not have been the definite lynch for today but he definitely would have been one of the top runners. And TAX was a very odd night-kill choice.People love a happy ending.
