Rammus's big problem is that he has to choose between leveling to clear and leveling to gank, which means he has to choose "gank" and has no option if the ganks don't work.

I'm considering writing a giant post to Riot about the current jungle meta, because it sucks so much. Easiest fix to Rammus is probably to improve the base damage and damage scaling on W, make it not scale with damage/lvl (only MR/Armor instead) so that you can 1-pt wonder it and still clear reasonably decently, which means he gets punished less for not getting off successful ganks while having more ability to deal with strong duelers early.

Sometimes i hate my friends and them being too stubborn to take advice.



This is his mid laner mastery page, and he doesn't realize how many points are simply going wasted in it.

Let alone the fact his going 19/2/9 and taking the worst 2 in the defense tree, his taking biscuits, for no other reason then "It gives me enough mana to trade" and picked some of the worst offense mastery's for a mid i think i have seen.

Can people tell me if i'm just insane and this is actually a good mastery page?

It's not like, out of the ballpark shittacular for a standard mage, but it's not optimal, or "good".
You see some people not go for havoc but they generally have 20-21 in O anyway, but those 2 in armor are weird.

Biscuits are awesome. Use biscuits if you use mana.

I don't mind biscuits but i generally use them as a support as i favor having 21/4/5 or 21/5/4 in mid lane.

He also doesn't seem to trust me that if he put the butcher point into Havoc he'd get basically the same CSing power with more damage output. (50 damage is roughly a mid laners early game damage, time's 3% is 1.5 damage)

EDIT: I also asked him when the last time he bought an armor/MR item and he really didn't have a clue

That aside, biscuits are fine. I personally prefer summoners' insight and buff time extension, but it's a style thing.

Not going full 21 / leaving out devastating strikes in offense is kinda silly (as is the auto attack = spell damage thing), but the defense mastery he chose was the best option for the two points.

Zhonya is common enough that it provides good value even if you don't get any other defensive items (which is pretty rare: athene's is super common, etc).

Athene's is a Defensive Item now?

I thought it was like Armor Seals - so integral to the game Riot should think about incorporating its stats into base champ numbers

This is me enraged at vayne because so long as the game hit 30 minutes she wins. Literally every goddamn time. I can do whatever I want in lane and have her go 0/5/0. But every goddamn game t's like I did nothing because she get super fed off of the rest of the team and does %hp and true damage.

Fuck Vayne. No risk for high reward? That's cool. Not even mentioning how horrendous her play pattern is.

So i just had a gold katarina, that i was playing viktor against, and she bitched the entire game calling me a noob, when she needed to get camped by her jungler because she just plain sucked and because of how fed i got, i was basically 2 shotting everyone late game.

I find it so funny when people call other people noobs when they get bent over and fucked hard the entire game.

It is; better in fact - this one's longer and has more champs but I don't like the anime-ish-ness.
Kat looks the same as in Twist of Fate but all the other women at least look WAY too cartoony, IMO.

I think Ahri's eyes are a bit large, but Leona and Zyra were fine.

Ahri looks weird... but yeah Zyra was fine. The shot with her walking towards Ahri and all you see are the stiletto plants. Good stuff.

Ahri's supposed to looks human-like, not 100% human. After all, she is half-fox half-human.

So I just won lane against a Platinum 2 Ahri (Diamond prev season) as Malzahar. She started flaming me because I was playing an easy champ.

Then later she admitted she never played against a Malzahar before. Some people

I almost never go utility on midlaners unless I'm playing one that can abuse their limited interaction (like Ziggs or Xerath)

Aside, The movespeed masteries are incredibly undervalued in what's still a mobility heavy meta.

but those are in utility

3 MS and a biscuit always in midlane if you use mana. always!
