I don't think my green flip makes peta look particularly bad here on the surface tbh, so what's the deal with the "me or him" ultimatum earlier?

If someone is dropping their own points to push the points someone else brought up instead, they essentially are saying through their actions, "I don't genuinely believe what I'm saying, I just want to push whatever gets everyone to think I'm right". Supplementing one's argument with points brought on by another player is okay, opting to push someone else's points in place of your own is not.
I thought it had something to do with pushing confirmed town or something?

what gives you that impression? before you said you wouldn't be able to change
my
mind by responding, no mention of the onlookers.
are you seeing anyone else ask me to respond to your post?
the only person who even noticed was DS who said I was justified not responding lol
so you would engage if someone else asked?

DS also called all 4 masons scum so don't pull that card lmao

I think this is mostly normal for me, so not really. I think I'll have more as the game moves on, but no guarantees there

Oh you meant the other tell
DS was trying to discredit the ground for cabd being conftown, and had he not been halted on the spot, he likely would have tried to push cabd for elimination today. Generally the scum tactic to deal with conftown that aren't being workable is to get the to question themselves and turn their thoughts around (gaslighting, in a word). It's rare to see scum try to go for the jugular like this but I feel like the fact DS did what he did and responded with indignation shows he wanted to try to pick a locked door and was frustrated when all that happened was his kit broke. He seems like scum who went for the hard sell and got pissed when no one bought it.

We have several conftown rn. Do you not think you can maybe get something from how people have interacted with them?

mb, intent is not to sow misinformation. my point is DS is playing a different game and absolutely does not speak for the thread.

I never had particularly strong reads except in my first few games.

- what reads do you even have?
Cabd - Scum. My gut has only gotten worse since the whole fiasco on day 1. Although there was something about a mason above? With a dethy, I don't believe that the set-up would have both a dethy and masons. Still, can someone explain later?
S_S - Surprisingly null!town. one of my stronger towns, but I'm not putting anyone in actual town because that tier is reserved for haha funny dethy-land.
Alisae - Null. Don't like your fixation on me, but I can't scumread you for that. You're doing your job. Some stuff has rubbed me the wrong way, but hey, that applies to most.
Pooky - /shrug. Don't remember them posting aside from snarking and the D1 cringeRP.

It seems weird that DS seems to be ignoring the mason claims. I know he thinks that they are fake, but surely by now, they should impact his reads right?

Thinking scummy right now because a town should probably weigh in the mason claims somehow, but we'll see. Just an observation.

Well you should probably just meta me, so you can make sure that I'm telling the truth as I seem to be dodging
(this is totally not an excuse not to give examples)

It's just a way to show that it's not anything super confident. We'll see how this proceeds.
