lol - read another way - "Scum that weren't Penguin have done this before somewhere and I don't know how Penguin would play so that definitely means he's scum"
At least effort a little bit.
Or read it as I said it, I've seen scum pull these gambits before, and I've put my (correct) reads aside because of them. Doesn't matter anyway.
Bah, though 3377 was e-1 so you lot could actually look at the game isntead of draggin feet.

If it ain't PP, it's CSF. My vote will go on those two or myself.

maybe you could look at this one since, ya'know, it's the one we're actually playing.
See - now we're aligning. If it ain't you, it's CSF.

zzz you mean I actually have to post something substantial today? boo hiss.
The only semi-valid reason to townread Flea I think is probably fae's interactions with Auro on day 1. Yet I don't think Flea's interactions with Auro on day 1 were clearing by any means.
- Fae's push on Auro could've easily been faked and eventually petered out for kind of a silly reason anyway.
- fae didn't try particularly hard to get people to join fae on Auro.
- fae's hop onto Gamma was felt awkward and came at a critical time when either Gamma or Enchant were in real position to go through.
- fae never pushed Auro on days 2 and 3 after Enchant was elimmed (and in fact, pushed like 3 different people yesterday who were *not* Auro), even though fae claims to have had this latent suspicion of Auro this entire time.
- Auro didn't seem too concerned at all with Flea's vote on him until I called him out for his lackluster reaction to it.
---
I get that I look bad by avoiding Enchant day 1, so if you feel like you need me out of the PoE, then whatever, I won't try too hard to fight it. But I will say that Auro/S_S was basically my elim pool yesterday, even though I never voted Auro. So if you're only looking at VCs, then that probably doesn't reflect in your analysis - with an effective double day yesterday, I think having scum in your bottom 2 should count for... something.
---
I'm pretty firmly against having PP in the elim pool. You can make the argument that PP hardbussed both of his partner to propel himself into endgame as deepwolf, which is already a pretty weak argument (remember this game isn't mountainous like White Flag, where hardbussing is a lot more pro-scum), but the following interaction seems very natural and not at all like SvS. I would argue that that alone should make him #3 town behind Titus/Thor.
Spoiler: PP votes

Bee is probably dying tonight, so part of me doesn't even want to spend the two brain cells required to write this, but I'll do so anyway - her Enchant vote probably comes from town, and she struck me as pretty towny with her contrarian pop ins day 1. I think this vibes with her general goal of trying to fly under the radar while still contributing where she thinks is important.
Spoiler: Bee posts

Manatee not jumping on Midnight despite wanting to apply pressure and having a decent reason to do so from early game seems like it's a good thing unless they're S/S but I don't think Midnight advocates for a wagon on her partner like that.
In post 1430, Miss Midnight wrote:That isn't something that I haven't elaborated on. Actually not trying to sound snarky here, but you can just read my ISO.
To bring up something new: self-serving though it may sound, I do think that his recent posts about me are genuinely just sort of bizarre in a way that resembles flailing. Again, someone correct me if there really is something I'm missing, but I think that Bee pretty much read the situation exactly in 1309 and most of the stuff Gamma has been saying has just been non-sequiturs.
I think this is a pretty good post and a more convincing reason for Scum!Gamma than any other that I've seen put forth so far.
When you moved your vote from Thor --> Gamma, I thought it was kind of implied that you were scumreading Gamma more heavily than Thor. The omission isn't scummy, and framing it as such is a pretty weird push from Gamma.

CSF, could you explain why you went from voting MM to Gamma? I don’t see anything obvious about what you were thinking beyond liking the read from MM (which tbh I agree with but seeing this progression is ??)?
If not Flea and assuming Bee just dies tonight, I think it's probably Gamma, who incidentally would be a better copcheck tonight than PP, but also Gamma doesn't feel like scum by the only metric I've found reliable at reading him (tone) plus I don't think the major wagons on day 1 were SvS. So I really hope it's just Flea!

Eh, what about the fact S_S pushed out Auro based on what we know now as a tracker guilty? Was CSF around to take note of that interaction?
