i should have tried to come in as a neutral party representing the nrg as opposed to my feeling son this as a player but there's a lot i didn't like.

I find it insane that we had two lynches, one of which was scum before town lost

But ngl I also have the impression that town horribly misplayed the power that was there so

like i've kinda tainted the pool by coming in saying it was awful. zzz

i don't think normal games should be predominantly decided by usage of town power.

Traitor- scum, however. Your statement on RCE's role is incorrect. The traitor being in the selection with them and the cop meant they came all under heavy fire; making the survival of the traitor unlikely, and town really failed to catch even one mafia from the traitor flip. You are omitting two high powers, though.
1. Aurathebirb (they forgot this shame on them) originally knew (due to informed) that Mafia had a traitor and consisted of 4 scum.
2. Vorkuta, the Vig, had a powerful information: They could not be stopped from killing Mafia. That meant that any N3+ protective without Loyal, and any N3+roleblocker without disloyal
was a fakeclaim
. And the Macho IC and the info about the N1 Neighbor cop(as cop) were designed to lessen the possibility of them being killed early.

These powers were not used this time.
This is why I said a bit scumsided and not alot.
My primary feedback for you is that the role pms really were not easy to read, it took me like 30 seconds to understand the babysitter role with all the different modifiers solely from how it was formatted.

a batshit ton of complexity

poor balance

etc.
It still contained atleast one VT and normal roles. Just the balance was bad, but like a lot of normals are like that.

Aura never coming in and revealing her info, and even later asking what informed was meant that we believed morality was the source of the town being informed of 4 scum. The problem is... I can't really be sure that she even did realize she had that info because of the aforementioned formatting.

If that mishap hadn't happened, I strongly believe that I would have played the game differently than I did.

I only pushed sorting the SS vs morality thing until later because of that tidbit

normal games shouldn't be based off of informed roles sharing info, modclearing a bunch of slots based on another informed slot, etc. in my opinion.

"against rc"?

the mod modkilled obvtown when i had both of you caught how arrogant and stupid do you have to be to claim a win against me when the game was 4v9 and you only won due to a modkill
To be fair, we played in a way where we were totally fine having you scum read us.

We were going for you the day DDL was modkilled. DDL was my biggest support. You replacing our nearly compromised the game.

I was thinking the setup was based around access and unaccess to information, RC.

That's why I was thinking that Morality was mechanically scum after aura's flip and why I was thinking that the traitor was probably the only mafia in the neighborhood.

you do not actually believe that the modkill and ensuing replace outs benefited town rather than scum.

if you want to claim that to save face publicly feel free to.

We lost the Shoshin mislynch. We were playing to the players not the conf town due to replacement.

This game got 10 times harder as soon as you two replaced out.

The mod kill did help scum more, but the replace outs that it ensued, when it was actually a solid call, while upsetting, wasn’t.

there's no shoshin mislynch when your entire scumteam gets consecutively lynched.

Posted: Sat Mar 23, 2019 7:03 am
by RadiantCowbells
the only possible mislynch was going to not get lynched due to claim. you guys were done before the modkill happened.

How?

I was never getting lynched, and you already had a pretty deep wagon going on you.

Had 2 more people voted you, we’d have gotten you, and then Shoshin the next day.

However, I do agree, 9:4 is bleh.

if it makes you feel better to claim that you think you could have mislynched you there feel free to do so.

And that was our mislynch pool for Day 2, afterwards the pool changes.

I mean, to be fair, it was a fake claim.

SOMETHING SMART!!! I DID IT!!! I won a page 1 Miller fake claim and got past a guilty!!!
I'm glad you did it, but it doesn't really count for much because you were dodgy about it early on and also it was obviously bullshit :P

I did think you were ascetic for a while, hence the claim, but I eventually changed my mind but not the opinion that you were scum, so I kept it.

It’s not a matter if I feel if it were to happen, it just was a likely possibility. Had Vedith slot voted you, that was essentially you getting lynched, because we would’ve only needed 1 more to just end the day with you.

We were also setting up a positioning for Day 2.

We have about 28 pages in the mafia thread. We weren’t unprepared

I'm pretty sure I played my imaginary PR better than most people played their real one... :shifty:

But even if people played their PR's right, there wouldn't have been nearly enough power to balance 9:4.
