Mod: V/LA every Tuesday and every Saturday. Will also be V/LA on Christmas Day, and maybe New Years Eve/New Years Day.
I realized today that with the short short prod timers, it'd be important to declare this to the mod, since I am always really really busy on Tuesdays and typically unavailable on Saturdays too and this is the holiday season as well.
I may or may not be able to contribute content today, but if so it'll be much much later today.

Not really appropo of anything, but a little while ago, I was advised by Mod A that I wouldn't be able to join their game because player B didn't like me. player B then sought to prevent me from playing any new games on site by joining all games open for sign-ups and asking the Mods not to allow me to join.
It transpires that player B was an alt of someone indefinitely banned from the site. and Mod A was perma-banned shortly after for prolific rule-breaches.
No personal beef with anyone involved, but it does go to show that it's not worth letting people on here get you down, and is testament to Shea's ethos of people just being respectful and fair to each other. People will often say I'm a bad player - and whether that's true or not, I do at least try to play the game in good faith. But hopefully this long-winded example illustrates why I don't support grudges carried from game to game.

It's not as clear-cut as "that info only really helps scum". There are 2 wincons - elim all scum, and do the tasks. We are doing ok on the first one, and possibly doing reasonably on the 2nd (i figure quite a few people have done their tasks by now, and we've only lost a couple of town whose tasks needed to be claimed). But, the key for me is that the achievability of the task wincon is harder to gauge. We know scum can prevent access to certain rooms, although we don't know much about how it works - maybe it is gated? maybe they can only target each room once, or have limited number of uses? We just don't know.
What I do know is, if we have 2 townies dying per night, that reduces the likelihood of winning the traditional way, OR winning through task completion (because we have to pick up more tasks between us). Relatively speaking, for 1 townie dying a night, I'm willing to take a potentially slower road to progressing the task wincon. My gut feeling is that collectively we are doing ok with task progression so far anyway, but also there are enough tasks in play that scum blocking 1 room a night won't completely hamper our progress at present.

So this is fucking hard for me but i have to fluff my posts to 300 words after last night fkr a task so sorry for pointless wallposts in advance. Its not my style and it is actually gonna make me not a top poster which makes me sad LOL.
I read this game earlier and alisae is clearly playing their town game so i shouldn't need to do much to be townread here(their scum and town games are night/day)
I see BM vote on me which is kinda hilarious considering the previous. Big ping seeing that coming in.
My task got sabotaged in admin or smthiny n1 i think ? Tryna make sense of this stuff.
So imma need a group to help me go to admin tonight after i finish my electrical task.
Imma reread the admin amd electrical convos later so i can give my analysis on that.
Im prob gonna fuck up my task today cause im so impulsive with posts LOOL
Anyways id like a full list of claims so far. Going into n3 we should be buddied up.

gamma was town in the admin chat n1. i think gamma's town and scumgame also are like fairly distinct based on recent games played by them.
