I'm cool with that, I forgot about VPB, and I was just copying Hito's template.

Benmage wrote:Do you think a player would ask you to do something negative? If this was the case, wouldn't the rest of us town call out that player? Throw the book at them? Scum with something to hide and make sure they don't slip are the only ones to delay yielding information. And I am voting you on that premise alone tomorrow. GL, if I didn't already attempt to kill one cult, I'd be killing you another cult.
I didn't think he was asking me something negative. I didn't know if he was asking me to do the smartest thing. If you think things out instead of simply complying, you might find something that everyone else missed; that's the fun of this setup. It's no fun just to follow every damn thing people tell you. You of all people should know this, since I can probably guarantee you didn't ask anyone before you murdered, did you?
Benmage wrote:And to counter. The reason to take him for his word, other than there being no reason not to, is the reason that scum would want to make sure they aren't slipping up in a town trap. Like I said, I've setup scum like this before. It may be a sketchy method of catching scum but its damn effective and after you fall for it once, you bet your ass you check your role pm the QT and anything pertinent before checking into a thread the next time you replace in as scum.
Percy sent the PM 50 minutes before I checked in at the thread. That's plenty of time for pertinent reading; all attempts to confirm me either way were null and void when I didn't check in after, oh, five minutes.
Seacore, how do you expect to catch scum if we test the voting insanities every day?

Nacho,
I don't expect to catch scum testing voting insanities (except maybe today, since people didn't know we'd be doing it, which is why I want you to do it)
However, by testing the three voting insanities every day, we effectively remove those as options for scum. This limits them to other, far more detrimental insanities.
I'm playing a longterm game with this one. If the cultists have been stacking their insanities on the same three cultists, we've got some out there with 4 insanities at least. The more insanities we regularly test for, the fewer they can take off the radar.

Nope not buying it.
Seacore wrote:All other players have done this.
There was no town reason for you not to comply. You will be hung for this. Hopefully you will learn and be a better player if you are indeed town. Although this will also be a lesson learned for you as scum.

No, not 5 minutes....6 minutes. You responded whimsically to Seacore 6 minutes after his demand.

okay, well I only wanted you to do the last bit, which is precisley what I asked you to do, but whatever.
Anyway, to further expand on my insanity checking.
There are 15 insanities open to cultists.
7 of them suck for the cultists. 6 of them really suck and the 7th only a little, but still
5 of the others are really easy to check for, although one of those only as we approach end game.
That leaves 3.
I'm working on theories on how to check those.
But if a cultist wants to take the risk and pick from the five that can be checked, or wants to hide it more effectively and pick from the ones that suck. I don't care. Sooner or later, every cultists will get to insanity number 4, because any that go too far above that will be caught.

So, to be clear, we're good with
ELG: Benmage, AV
Furc: VPB, AV
Wicked: Seacore, Plum
SpyreX: Xvart, Plum
as the robs?
Also:
vote: Spyrex
I forgot I had unvoted when the wagon hyper-swelled. My gut still hates the wagon, but even Spy understands leaving him around is too much of a risk to drag around. I'm super-happy his wagon wasn't a quickwagon, because this day was MUCH better for wagon analysis than it would have been with a quicklynch. Updated reference should be tomorrow, so if you've got something you've gotta get done today, get on it.
I'm working on my own little theory for stalking. I'll have that soonish, still ironing out the kinks.

Yeah hito, thats legit...Let's just have all the participants agree so there's no "oops".
I obviously agree.

Hell, has everyone who's robbing agreed to rob yet?
Nacho seems to have thrown everything for a bit of a loop.
preview edit
Case in point. Plum is robbing isn't she?
Hito, lead us away from confusion, please.

Yeah Plum can't kill if Plum is double rob graving...

Then have Wraith do it.

One last time, I want this clear:
If, come later (IT SHOULD BE TOMORROW BUT I KNOW BETTER) everything I've said is pish poshed because 'ohh gee shucks he might be scum' I will rage so hard in the dead chat I will format Percy's computer with the power of my mind.
I am a POWERFUL WIZARD, even in death.

I agree to grave rob, I also agree to go back to Spyrex's posts if it is revealed he is an investigator.

I agree to grave rob.
@Nacho - What is your experience with SAII? Have you read any portion of that game?
@SpyreX - why exactly should we listen to you after you're dead again? Especially when you seem to believe your flip is not going to be revealed like EL G's (which I'm not so certain would be the case considering the cost to scum if you're actually town)?
xvart wrote:Do you really think that as a Cult member I would have not thought through claiming a Stalk as Cult and the ramifications of it not going through?
In fairness, this is something I would definitely expect the scum to consider trying. Free insanity is free insanity, especially when we set a precedent for allowing such behavior.

Something's weird here. Why is Nacho claiming zero insanity when nopoint claimed 1/2 of the Wickedest rez?

You don't get an insanity by successfully rezzing, just by being rezzed

I think the protector only becomes bloody, right? The protected becomes bloody + insane.

Oh. Right. >.>.
VP, opinions on Plum. What do you make of my case on her?
Also, who do you think should stalk Nico/whoever tonight? (My pick is still on AV btw.)

VV wrote:VP, opinions on Plum. What do you make of my case on her?
I need to look more closely at it honestly. I've been a little short of time these past few days, so that is probably something (and her rebuttal) that I will look at this weekend.
VV wrote:Also, who do you think should stalk Nico/whoever tonight? (My pick is still on AV btw.)
I think AV looks kind of townish actually, so I'd prefer someone more scummy to do the stalking. Wraith or Nacho perhaps.

Okay we only need to sort out this Plum thing...I say let her be the double rob graver instead of the killer.

VasudeVa wrote:Something's weird here. Why is Nacho claiming zero insanity when nopoint claimed 1/2 of the Wickedest rez?
Also, there was a verification point from us as to a point when Nacho/npau would have had zero insanities. The only time he could have had more was if he had accrued them last night.
Length of claim time on zero insanities was
though. Stop attempting to fit your own neck for rope.
Don't support the talk of Nacho lynch, suspect slot is town.
We would rather see Plum do the stalk.
Plum is hard to read and solid potential scum.
Wraith is okay as stalker.
Nacho is likely town, so...
