I agree with you, in general, that this isn't the normal town Venmar that I'm used to. It also isn't exactly scum Venmar: there's attacks like this which end up being pretty strange, and combined with the "I don't wanna play today" are fairly genuine.

even if you were town and i were scum, i'm pretty sure i could avoid getting lynched. so it's infinitely easier to avoid being lynched when i'm actually town and have nothing to hide.
