its a stance on the unright-Tar neighbours.
It also underlines I dont believe either DN or orto should be lynched.

Hmm.. You're taking a stance on something you didn't have an opinion of Day 1. I want to be grateful, but I'm still paranoid.
dramonic wrote:It also underlines I dont believe either DN or orto should be lynched.
Both of those two acted pretty peculiarly yesterday. Chamber is right about DeathNote contributing very little to the game, and ortolan's certainty of my towniness is... somewhat unnatural and out-of-character for him.

sources? both for my certainty of your towniness and the fact this is "out of character for me".

I very strongly doubt DN will be NKed, as he's an easy mislynch. The optimal play on him would be for a cop of sort to take a peek at him. Also, last time I saw him as scum he was way more active than that.
I checked Ort's post in ISO and couldnt find anything particularly scummy.

Maybe "certainty" was a little strong, but the following quotes reek a little of buddying.
ortolan (280) wrote:Unright's 244 looks so town.
ortolan (299) wrote:Unright is doing a very good job of looking pro-town right now, his vote on Snow_Bunny looks legit also. Voting him is real scummy.
As for "out-of-character"...
I'll use KK's history with you to bring up:
Open 96,
Mini 711, and
Prisoner's Dilemma II as examples where you were town, yet refrained from making pro-town declarations on Day 1.
I have a similar read, but not as numerous examples. Keep in mind, you're not my top suspect at the moment, I just think you were a little off your usual pro-town read.

Emp, why Pom?
Also answer Tar's question because I know for a fact that he used an ability on you last night.

Sorry about lurking through Day 1. I'll try to read up and post some thoughts soon.
On a side note, I agree that Emp should claim.

This post is fail for a multitude of reasons.
However, I think Emp should claim.

Tar: Why?
Because of the hammer?
I didn't know if Cobalt would show up, and the alternative was a no-lynch.

Assuming that Slicey is telling the truth, than the Emp claim makes sense. Didn't Tar mention that his role included a cop-like facet? I have to go check back up on that though....

I feel this is a (very) poor attempt at meta.
- Presumably those games are old and outdated
- Lacky sample size
- Having a behaviour previously not exhibited as town doesn't mean it was previously exhibited by scum- doesn't in any way indiciate it would be more likely to come from town than scum.
- I have come to the conclusion recently that not declaring people town when they make obv personal tells is very very scummy. I think this would be reflected in my recent games if you actually looked at them.
Unright (363) wrote:I just think you were a little off your usual pro-town read.
I don't have a "usual pro-town read", otherwise people wouldn't read me as scum all the time when I'm town. I'm not aware of anyone who has been competent at reading me with any amount of consistency.
