I don't see how Hez (Two-face) would have that type of attack.

The Threat
FULDU
- Posion IvyYou
are the new threat to Gotham City! You have developed a chemical which turns anyone whom you spray with it into a KILLER VEGETABLE under your control. Your plan is to build up an army of Killer Vegetables and to take over Gotham City! Each night you may either:(a) spray someone or
(b) send one of your Killer Vegetables to kill another player.
PM me each night with your choice. You may also talk freely with the Killer Vegetables at night (but only once I have confirmed to you that they have been successfully converted). You win when the only people left in the game are you and/or your Killer Vegetables.
NOTES: After 2nd player recruited, or 3rd attempted recruitment (whichever comes first) she will run out of spray. If she has no vegetables and no spray, she may perform kills herself (by strangling with vines). Cannot recruit or kill BATMAN.
KILLER VEGETABLES
were sent this message when sprayed by POISON IVY: POISON IVY (Fuldu) has sprayed you with her latest invention, and you have been turned into a KILLER TOMATO/CARROT!
You have lost any powers or abilities you used to have. Your duty now is to destroy Gotham City under the orders of your mistress, Poison Ivy. She has the power to create more KILLER VEGETABLES or to send the Killer Vegetables to kill other players.
You may speak to Poison Ivy [and the other Killer Vegetable] each night.
If Poison Ivy dies, you and any other Killer Vegetables will have to decide amongst yourselves who to kill and who is to do the killing (one of you – the killer – must PM me the name of your victim each night).
Your new win condition is: you win when the only players left alive are Poison Ivy and/or Killer Vegetables.
NOTES: The Killer Vegetables killed by strangling with their roots/tendrils/stalks/whatever. If they had any night abilities, they could not use them on the night they were sprayed.
The "Town"
QUIDGYBOO
- Mr FreezeEach night, you may fire your freeze ray at one player to eliminate them from the game. PM me when you want to use this power with the name of your target.
NOTE: Cannot kill BATMAN
NIGHTFALL
- BatmanYou have decided to join forces with the Villains of Gotham City to destroy the threat to Gotham City. Your fighting prowess means that you will be able to defeat any (single) person who attacks you at night.
NOTES:
Will
be killed if targeted by MR FREEZE and a KILLER VEGETABLE at the same time. If the only players left are BATMAN and POISON IVY or BATMAN and a KILLER VEGETABLE, BATMAN and the town will triumphHEZLUCKY
- Two-FaceYou still have some influence with the Gotham City DA’s office. You are able to secure the release of any one player taken into custody if you act quickly. If any of the Villains of Gotham City are captured by the authorities this will be posted in the thread; if you want them released, you must PM me during that same game day.
NOTE: A complete red-herring role.
QUAILMAN
- Harley QuinnYou still retain some of your skills as a psychiatrist. Each night you may find out if one statement made by a player in this game was a lie. Send me a quotation (1 sentence maximum) from the previous day and tell me the number of the post in which it appears. I will tell you to the best of my ability whether or not they were lying when they made the post. BUT: your ability to detect lies only works if people don’t realise what you are doing. If your ability becomes public it will stop working.
NOTES: Ability is genuine; results are in the form: “X appears to be telling the truth/lying”
IBAESHA
- The PenguinAs the most senior of the Villains of Gotham City, you know the Gothamites better than anyone else. Each night you may PM me the name of any player and I will tell you their role name.
NOTE: Gets just the vegetable (e.g. “CARROT”) for the KILLER VEGETABLES.
FRITZLER
- The JokerYou have inside information that BATMAN has found out about the meeting at Rupert Thorne’s mansion. He (perhaps with some of his cronies) is likely to be at the meeting. If you want to search for him, each night you may PM me the name of one player and I will tell you whether that player is a BAT-person or not.
THOK
- The ScarecrowYour knowledge of chemicals can also be used for healing. Each night you may PM me the name of any player whom you want to protect. You may protect yourself once during the game.
NOTE: Protection will also prevent cult recruitment.
WESMIN
- Baby DollAs the smallest of the Villains of Gotham City, you can wander around unnoticed by the other Villains – enabling you to spy on them! Each night PM me the name of one player you want to spy on.
NOTES: A tracker role – told who visits/visited that player, but can’t see what they were up to. Cannot detect mere discussions between POISON IVY and her KILLER VEGETABLES, except for Poison Ivy instructing a particular Killer Vegetable to kill.

I really enjoyed modding this game, and I hope you enjoyed playing it. I thought that there was some really high quality play on all sides.
I'd be interested in your views, but IMHO the town won due to a lot of skill and a little luck. I think the turning points were:
Thanks should also go to SpeedyKQ for very valuable help wit the setup, and to inHimshallibe, my back-up mod.
I'd be interested in your views, but IMHO the town won due to a lot of skill and a little luck. I think the turning points were:
- ibaesha correctly deducing that Quidgyboo/Mr Freeze was a vig (for which they both deserve credit). If ibaesha had outed Quidgyboo as scum it would have been game over.
- Quidgyboo and ibeasha's night 4 choices. In particular, if Quidgyboo hadn't killed scum that night it would have been game over.
- The fact that ibaesha did not investigate anyone who was subsequently turned into a Killer Vegetable.
Thanks should also go to SpeedyKQ for very valuable help wit the setup, and to inHimshallibe, my back-up mod.

I loved this game. Fuldu certainly had me snowed until day 4. If I had gone from behavior, I wouldn't have thought he was scum. The evidence was just too much to ignore in the end though.
Also, when I got the response that Phoebus was a carrot, I bust out laughing. I didn't expect it at all. WTF? A carrot? OOK. Quidgy's kill on Thok cleared it up for me pretty quick in the morning of course.
Thanks Mr. Stoofer and Mr. Thorne as well. A great time.

I think Stoofer's point two is the biggest factor in our loss. In fact, if Quidgyboo and ibaesha had targeted the same scum, we probably would have won. If either of them had targeted me, it would have increased the likelihood that we would win, though it still would have been a tough sell. I went back and forth that night on whether to target ibaesha or Quidgyboo (who was the obvious pick for Freeze). In retrospect, going the other way might have turned out better, but I think I made the right choice.
Point three was the one that I was most annoyed about. I was favorably pushing for the reveal plan on the assumption that there was a pretty good chance that one of the three of us would have been investigated already. Very disappointing that that didn't happen.
I actually disagree with Stoofer regarding point one. ibaesha could have outed Quidgyboo as Freeze, which would have made trying to identify him easier for us, but I don't think he'd have been lynched, even still. There was too great a possibility that he was a vig. And since the first shot we took at Mr. Freeze turned out to be right, the town wouldn't have lost much if ibaesha had brought that out into the open.
I don't intend to share my strategies and tactics publicly. I might have to play scum again in another game. Sorry, Stoofer.
I've commented to Stoofer privately, but will now say publicly that I think the scum mechanism in this game was interesting and, with one exception, worked very well. If it were me, I'd want to have a SK in the mix as well, so you don't have no kills either of the first two nights, but the recruit the team and then set about killing process really created some interesting possibilities. My only complaint is that if you're only going to give the GF two doses of the recruitment juice, you really ought to tell them that ahead of time. I would have handled recruiting differently if I'd known I was only going to get to recruit twice. I ended up with a good team, as things turned out, but I would have considered killing Night One and recruiting Nights Two and Three, with a better sense of who/what I was getting, if I hadn't thought that my best plan was just to recruit every night and only kill if/when there was an unavoidable threat or if I died. If I'd been in a position to recruit ibaesha once it was clear to me that we were the only scum in the game (Day Two, but sadly not Night Two), there wouldn't have been any stopping us.

It takes a village to raise a lynch mob.
Day Four went pretty fast, but even still, I was shocked that the connection between Poison Ivy and killer vegetables wasn't mentioned at all. I did briefly imagine that if nobody put that connection together, I might pull off a win. Of course, it came up almost first thing on Day Five, so my hopes pretty much fell from there.ibaesha wrote:I loved this game. Fuldu certainly had me snowed until day 4. We pulled it off.
Turns out I was pretty right about my post
Glad to see I was right about Ibeasha (hopefully this will prove to her that Im not always lying though )

I was pretty sure Fritz, Phoebus, and Fuldu were the scum at the time of my lynch.Fritz: For his flat out lies, you'll see this is true when Im gone. I am still shocked that everyone is fine with him voting me when he himself has said his pm doesn't say I am bad.
Fuldu: Votes and disapears... scum?
Ibeasha: Votes (w comment) and disapears... If there is only 1 clean person on my bandwagon she would be my guess though
Phoebus: Seems to have tried to take the focus off of Fritz by bandwagoning me as hard as he is, and refusing to consider my side of the arguement.
Quailman: Seems to blindly faithfull of Fritz
Glad to see I was right about Ibeasha (hopefully this will prove to her that Im not always lying though )

The only investigation I might've done differently in the first three days was to investigate Phoebus instead of Quailman or Quidgyboo. I suspected him from day 1.Fuldu wrote:Point three was the one that I was most annoyed about. I was out of town at the time (it was a holiday) or I would've reappeared. I doubt I would've changed my vote though. I believed Fritz and thought he was pro-town (which he was) and was in the mindset of: Why have his role if bat-people aren't scum?Nightfall wrote:Ibeasha: Votes (w comment) and disapears... I feel a bit guiltier about vIQles lynch, primarily because I believed he was town at the time I cast the lynching vote. There had already been three power roles outed though and I thought it'd be best to end the day before too much more info was out or a fourth claim was pushed.
I don't know about that.Nightfall wrote:Glad to see I was right about Ibeasha (hopefully this will prove to her that Im not always lying though )

Surfs up dude.
Well, thanks for the game Stoofer. I enjoyed it despite the loss.
Sorry gang. I wouldn't usually self vote but with Thok killed and me fingered, quashing info was pretty much all I could do. I *did* try and leave a herring. No idea if it would've worked. Prolly not. If only Ibby had not investigated Hez as well...that too early in the game
Thanks again!
Until next time!

As it turns out, we probably lost this game when we killed wesmin instead of ibaesha night 2 (given that she hadn't investigated us). I'll also take some blame for handling my argument with draygen_mage/quidgyboo day 3 poorly-I assume that's the reason I got vigged.
Also, there were a lot of coppish roles in this game, even if some of them are weak.

I replaced into Chess Mafia for 6 months, and all I got was a win and this lousy sig.
