This is Empire speaking. I'm still trying to figure out what the status of my slot is going to be but, worst case scenario, I'll just continue the game on my own. As far as what happened goes, it happened, there's no point in dwelling on it (this goes to you, Nacho). Not in the best mood but I'm just going to move on from here.

Way to completely miss the point of my post. I wanted ffery to engage me directly, and while your posts are nice and cool and all, it occurred to me that she's not really been very active in the thread (as far as I can tell). From what I remember, ffery's favorite part of the game is the early portion of it so it seems a bit out of character as both alignments for her not to be around and partake in it. The point is that I want her to show me she's not dead and dive in a bit more.

As tempting as moving is, I just got on this wagon and a lack of posting is never a reason to move in my books.

It's not Venmar's lack of posting that makes me leery of him, it's what's actually in those posts. The prioritizing of reading Nacho-sangres, yet once he gets a town read on them, he doesn't use it. Like, there's no reach-out, no attempt to interact. Which if he knows the slot that well I'd expect.

Katsuki feels worst to me here. Untrod Tripod and Plum also read scummy, although I don't know that I've persuaded F-16 of that yet WRT Plum. I like the Tim Howard wagon as well, and based on where they are in the VC from 304, both the Katsuki and Tim Howard wagons are town driven, with my weakest read being Sixty on either wagon.

ChannelDelibird, this puppyhalf kind of agrees with sangres that that post doesn't seem to make much sense coming from quadz based on what I know of him.

But more importantly, could you tell me why you're sold on them being Town?

- Because I no longer wanted to vote for someone I didn't fully think was scum? When someone hits a grey area I tend to back off. I'm quite sure I said this wasn't just Nacho too, but also the Sangres hydra as a whole.

I would appreciate if people would fucking stop bothering me about Sangres and making me talk about him and then fucking hating and scumreading me for doing just that. My reads are always gut and feeling based, I never do cases anymore either.

The problem is that I don't see any proactive measure from your part in trying to figure out sangres's alignment. When confronted with some sort of greyness from another player, there's some sort of impetus or drive to want to go in and sort that out and I'm not seeing that at all from you. In that context, your entire approach to the slot comes off as opportunistic (particularly the backing off once the sangres wagon died down).

That's not even remotely what I was saying. UT's opinion evidently matters so much to you that it apparently makes you want to not vote my slot, despite not having a read on UT yourself (if you do, what is that read?). It seems like an excuse to not vote for fear of getting the same flak from it that you did from the sangres one.

I already mentioned it back in #168, but I thought the early wagon was fine to get the game going and get Real Conversation started. Do you want me to start talking about specific voters or...? nacho is well aware that self-declarations of obvtownness give me hives whether I think a player is town or not.

The reads list nacho posted earlier was a consensus list. F-16 seems fairly town so far, though I don't think any of his early posts prior to nacho pushing him a little were unfakeable.

I have never played with scum-Venmar, but right now, I'm not seeing anything that is outside the range of how I've seen him play as town in the 2-3 games we've played.

What are your thoughts on F-16 and Venmar?

And what do you think of katsuki?

I'd really would rather table the Venmar discussion from my end 'til about 1-2 more pages but at the risk of tipping my hand, I'd recommend you read this (the games are rather old but the meta might very well still be accurate).
Katsuki has exactly one towntell that I have for him and it's more a body-of-work kind of thing than anything specific. Gun to my head, I'd say he's town but not super confident on this read.

Oh, and I still think F-16 is town via his entrance into the game/his general tone/the way he approaches interactions with players I know he'd be afraid of as scum.

Do you have any thoughts on Shadoweh so far? I am borderline null/town on her but I am not sure yet.

Honestly, I'm just about the last person you should ever ask for a read on Shadoweh (I was really hoping to sheep Tammy here), but she got some minor townpoints from me for #268 (feeling some sort of indignation for being treated invisible and basically demanding people pay attention to her scumhunting is something I'd think is more likely to come from town generally and I think especially so from her).

first game with Shadoweh, I think. I'll have to review some games at some point if/when I need to form my own read rather than depend on nacho's opinion. From what I've seen so far, I don't have any strong reasons to think she's scum.

What pings this puppyhalf re: Venmar is the whole "hey let me state how this slot who is completely not under pressure is Town for no good reason" after jumping off him. It was unnecessary, and had a lot more to it than his other reads. It felt like me unnecessarily proclaiming someone as Town in a Skype game a while back. And as we're seeing, it's not like there is a in declaring Nacho-Town when he then doesn't bother to interact with him.


But Tim Howard? Tim Howard. See quadz voting a slot that is obviously Town as he slams us for making Tammy feel bad... without bothering to read Tammy through that scene, nor try and consider that Tammy wasn't exactly the kindest person in that interaction either. Nope reaming people was more important and far more ferocious than anything else they have done in terms of the actual game.
