Survivalist is NAI, Skybird, unless the person you're pushing as an alternative is someone who you had previously considered town.

@Rob, can you confirm that I am a 1-shot kingmaker and that I targeted Tammy last night?

I'm not sure if he can, but it's worth a try.

True Cerb. Marquis is just so tunneled on me that I expect her to bring that up as another point against me.

.....why would he be able to confirm that? That is an insane thing to ask Skybird.

Skybird wrote:OK, but how does Ranger flipping town validate your read on me? I could see your point if I had pushed for Ranger's lynch, but I had a feeling she was town and refused to vote there.

Ranger insisted that the only wagons that were viable were Myself and Seniors, despite the fact that your wagon was larger than mine before her vote for me.

I viewed it as an attempt to derail your wagon, and I'm pretty sure I accused her of only voting me instead of Seniors because if she hadn't done so you wagon would have been bigger than mine. I am for the record still inclined to believe that that's the reason she voted as she did.

Had she flipped scum it would have reinforced my read, but her flipping town doesn't change the preexisting read that I had prior to her entering the game.

Quoted for truth. No comment on this question, obviously.

I think Skybird's claim is bullshit, and I want to move forward with her lynch. That role sounds completely bananas. I'm not doubting it exists, but I doubt it's in this game, and that Skybird has it, and that Skybird's target miraculously died during the night. It just seems implausible.

Maybe that's not a good enough reason to be unswayed by the claim, but I'm just not buying it.

I'm trying to decide if scumbird would deliberately ask Rob question she knew he wouldn't answer in an attempt to look like noobish town.

That's pretty manipulative for scum, and I'm at this point categorizing Skybird as lazy scum instead.

On the other hand is townbird new enough to not know that there is simply no way Rob was going to answer that question.

I don't think Skybird's THAT new, but I still think this is a divergence from earlier play.

I am of course always ready for a Cakez flashwagon.

Cerb, I'm doing my best to prevent a mislynch. I didn't think Rob would confirm it, but it didn't hurt anything to try.

This seems passable as a flavor claim. But
davesaz wrote:So IMO that's not a role that can be given to scum without compromising balance to the point of impossibility. The claim strengthens my town read.

So are we going to lynch town, or try to switch it to someone else?

Why do you assume Skybird is telling the truth about it? Just because of prior town read?

I agree you really can't have a scum "Kingmaker", but I have serious doubts if that's what Skybird really is.

Not buying it but not sure what to think of her earlier treating this claim like some sort of smoking gun.

Here, I don't think I've actually posted anything on Skybird today.

She had no scumreads day one, so she said she was going to do iso's on everyone.

But the only one she ever did was Snarky of all people. He had like three posts. What was she expecting to find? Why ask him a question, he was never going to answer. She asked him for reasoning on his very first post too, that question couldn't have been more pointless. "Hey Snarky, I know you're not here and probably aren't reading the game. But when you do show up can you please explain this post you made on page four"?

I can see town with no reads deciding to read some iso's to get some. But the only one she did was the most useless player in the game. Even if you had limited time, why only do someone who will yield nothing?

She then apparently don't do any more looking until immediately after I ask you what happened to those iso's you were doing. She then asks a rather halfhearted question about my read on TWL. A line of questioning that she immediately abandons. The whole thing just doesn't strike me at all as someone who's actually looking for scum, but rather like you were trying to just look busy.

I initially went back to read her old stuff to determine if she was actually townreading Tammy.

I guess she was. Though she didn't mention her at all since about halfway through the day and she never says anything about Tammy's reads (which I would assume to be important for a king).

Ironically enough, I'm not sure if there's anyone she's posted about more likely for her to target with a kingmaker other then Tammy and Spiffah.

So eh.

I was trying to lay low on D1 because of my role. I wanted to make sure I got a chance to use it. I was town-hunting looking to make sure I targeted town with my king-maker shot. So Mirhawk you are correct that I really didn't have any scum reads D1. I really wasn't looking for them. But I couldn't say that because you guys would have flash-lynched me. I also didn't want to say anything that would make scum think I had a super PR and was worth a NK.

Thematically speaking I don't think Kingmaker is that unlikely in a game about musicals.

Maaan I don't know now. It's kinda playable.

Are you guys sure we can't just lynch Cakez.

Dont flash wagon sircakez or feel my wrath.
Skybird seems genuine in their claim. And if the claim is genuine the role is positively town.
Lynch TPP.

I'm not going to dispute that. I'm only really concerned with his day one.

My Piper read is currently tied up with my Mala read, I have to admit I'm not very interested in going back and trudging through Pipers posts to get more of a read on them. I find their posts in general to be difficult to read.

Is Mala actually a compromise that people are interested in? Ogre said she was, but I'm not seeing it. What do you guys think of her?

no, mala is town, and tpp is town enough today

I've played with mala enough to know when it's her towngame too and this is it. The inactivity doesn't mean anything when it comes to her, but when she's here she's genuine af and playing exactly to her town meta. look somewhere else
