Technically so is using meta, since it is bringing an 'outside influence', aka 'events from other games', into a game.
Edit:
"Using knowledge from previous games is perfectly acceptable, but try not to carry grudges from one game to another." -Site Rules
This indicates that WotC and Policy Lynching (in some cases) are against the rules.
The point is; you should judge whether or not the spirit of the rule was broken.
Edit 2:

I just want you to know this is a natural emotional reaction.

Yes, that would be the 'spirit of the rules'. If you're going by the book then not so much.

I like this idea.
2nd
3rd.
He might be my favorite mod on the site.
I like the idea behind it but not the title itself... Needs something snazzier I think.

Don't worry he won't actually get it.

I like borkgame better actually, but it's probably because the Borkgame Micro was such a memorable game. Normal, balanced, no flavor, and amazing. The game was completely in line with all the amazingness that comes of innovative role combinations and kickass flavor in his later games. They're all borkgames.

I think borkgame would look weird as a title.

I'd give Xenophile a nommy but I feel it's so close to Xenophobe I'm practically nominating myself.
I do support it over borkgame though.

Not even. "phobe" is the fear/hatred of something, "phile" is more the love or perversion of it, so opposites.

(or not really; I'm simplistically basing it on sounding and looking alike, despite not being actually alike.)
