I've read all of dsj's scumgames and a few of his longer town games that I linked prior to this.

The difference between him here and his previous scumgames is that he's lasted longer than a few days - in 2 scumgames he replaces out almost immediately, one of them he replaced in on the last day and did nothing, very rarely does he actually play the game out when he is dealt scum and his scum play is very crap.

I also re-read a few of his town games and he usually gets into stupid arguments - but this could be because they are mostly newbie games.

A possible explanation for his play this game is that he feels uncomfortable and out of his depth- however I do not believe dsjtr offering to off himself via lynch to avoid lylo is within his scumrange - his scum play lacks that level of deception.

My worry is that the scum are outside of dats/dsj and they are happy to keep me/dats alive as lynchbait for lylo when they can just jump on Datisi - hence why I think removing me is the best way to clear Datisi's head if he is actually town which I currently believe he is.

when I said jump on datisi I mean jump on datisi's vote on me and speedlynch me in lylo

Isn’t that a contradiction @SS? You have me as a possible partner for dsjtr but you suspect Dats if he’s town?

You suggested that dsjtr could possibly be distancing Dats but you have me as possible scum if he flips scum and Dats as a possible scum if he flips town, so that really doesn’t make any sense to me.

I townread Datisi independently of the belief that dsjstr/Datisi isn't ruled out by dsjstr voting Datisi.

However if dsjstr is town then the gamestate is much more likely to be significantly screwed because everyone except him has a decent reason to be town, so that makes Datisi-scum more plausible.

dsjstr have you ever offered to vote yourself out the day before lylo before?

ok a few things:
- i mgiht argue that he's exhibiting a fatalistic mindset by repping out in his scumgames (i.e. he doesn't htink he, in that slot, can further the scumwincon, so just leaves). and that volunteering to rep-out is him manifesting the same mindset in a slightly different way
- this is a really specious and surface-level argument. you're presenting the fact that he's lasted more than a few dayphases as a townie trait, because he tends to rep-out. in both scumgames that i've looked at, he lasted till the last phase. incidentally the game ended really fast cuz he was elim'ed in a micro, but this is in direct contrast to you sayi9ng he rarely actually plays otu the game as scum i feel like the above is a very ~slanted~ way of diffrentiiating between his town and scumgames and like selectively presents things to make it look different than this game.
- his scum iso's tend to be flat, devoid of scumhunting, and his posts are more of the nature 'hi i'm still posting i'm still here' than, like, scumhunting. his reads change on a dime as convenient. in his towngames, in contrast, tend to have a coherent thought process wherein you can see his reads and they follow through from post to post, and his posting tends to further his thoguth process/narrative

this game looks much more like the former than the latter
